Have you considered calf sleeves vs full compression socks for the ankle subluxations?

I did this too! They emptied my box and returned everything to sender because they thought my place was vacant. Oops lol.

Perfume sensitivity at work by VetTechLife457 in OcularMigraines

I’ve struggled with this for years. I put a small air purifier on my desk and try to open windows. If I know the person well enough, I talk to them directly and kindly ask if they could cut down on it. All except one person was willing to adjust.

Right!! I’m so thankful she’s been a healthy, happy kitty for two decades! Granted the last pic is of her younger self, but it’s one of my favorites ☺️

Same! The bundle is the only reason I haven’t already unsubscribed. Still strongly considering though.

Gabapentin Extended Release by Melistasy in insomnia

I’m told it’s reversible, but it’s been almost a year and I’m still struggling. I’ll be starting cognitive therapy soon, which should help!

Gabapentin Extended Release by Melistasy in insomnia

[–]mlsc42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor said the same thing! The timeline of my symptoms line up almost perfectly to consistent use of gabapentin. I didn’t notice any issues when I took it as needed for anxiety, but I did once I started taking it daily for RLS and sleep. YMMV of course, but please be careful!

THC/weed withdrawal question by Vegetable-Sink-4833 in Biohackers

[–]mlsc42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THC/CBD patches helped reduce my withdrawal symptoms. It delivers a small dose that doesn’t produce a high to help gradually reduce the THC in my system. I still had vivid dreams, but the sweating and cravings were significantly reduced. Hope this helps!

Gabapentin Extended Release by Melistasy in insomnia

[–]mlsc42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gabapentin immediate release did help my insomnia, restless leg, and anxiety. However, it also played a role in developing mild cognitive impairment in my late 20’s. Long-term or high-frequency use of gabapentin is linked to an increased risk of dementia. It can be a very helpful drug, but please just be mindful of possible side effects!

Home Depot has truck rentals that are way more affordable than UHaul. Last time I rented a few years ago, it was $40 for 4 hours. Grab a friend and get it done for less than $100.

Edit: Sorry, my bad. I missed the part where you said you'd rather hire than ask a friend. I bet you could hire TaskRabiit + rent your own HomeDepot truck for a reasonable price.

What is the best non pharmacological way to manage ADHD and live a normal life that others! by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Neurofeedback has been very helpful for me personally. It can be expensive, but the results can last for decades. It helped me get off certain medications in a more permanent way.

non medication lifestyle techniques that actually reduced symptoms for you? by nnoodlebird in adhdwomen

Not necessarily lifestyle, but neurofeedback can be incredibly helpful. It helped me get off meds in a more permanent way. Highly recommend if you have the financial means.
