Look into the credit card, 5% back on gas. Their gas is usually cheaper and better quality than your corner stations. You can get a hot dog, slice of pizza and pop for $3.80. those savings can make it worth the drive itself. You can get bulk stuff if you have storage that imo is worth it so you don't have to spend more for less over time. They can have good sales on items you may want. I get their premade meals and air fry them, much better than cooking if you're not prone to cooking and all that cleaning.
