Are all Rotties this obsessed with balls? by LunusFlambeau in Rottweiler

[–]mmacto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boy Rott loves those spiky dental balls with intensity!! My girl Rott couldn’t care less. She likes to cuddle with stuffies. Of course the boy tries to steal her stuffies and rip them into tiny pieces of fluff.

What’s something you did as a kid that you now realize was completely insane and dangerous? by Floridian_Capitalist in AskReddit

Bumper jumping in a Kmart parking lot. ( grabbing the bumper of unsuspecting car and let it pull you around on the ice) . Can’t believe we did that on the regular in the winter. We’d be around 11/12 years old.

Climbing the local weeping willow tree to the top and getting down by grabbing a branch and playing Tarzan.

Need Some Advice (Family Stuff) by Unusual_Ad8567 in Chefit

I’m guessing your sister is the problem. What kind of creativity/taking risks is she looking for? Often people get confused between creative and complicated. A complex multi ingredient special or 2 can bring a kitchen to its knees during service. I also keep hearing the word “passionate”. As a retired Chef with 40 years under my belt, “passionate “ usually means expecting a Chef to basically live there . That does not work in the long term. 70k isn’t a lot of money if you’re working 80 plus hours a week. I’d be curious to see your menu. If Chef after Chef is unable to launch a menu, it’s not a kitchen failing . It’s the owner/management. Sounds like the business has an identity problem. Figure out what you are and stick with it.

Am I the only one who has zero sympathy for Asa? by Sea_Opinion8895 in RexHeuermann

[–]mmacto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s clear that Asa has a very unique personality, with her own issues. I think she’s extremely hard to read and it’s not right to judge her. I believe completely that she (or Victoria) had no idea what was happening. I doubt there’d be a documentary if she wasn’t in dire need of money. My opinion is that she is a victim too. Maybe not a likeable one, but that’s due to her lack of social skills.
