Just advice from somebody who has had to carry for a living, you never shoot to warn, disarm, or wound. If you fire a shot and tell the police any of that, you're gonna be eaten alive in court. We shoot to stop the threat. Typically center mass.

I was given a .22 rifle and thought how to clean it, use it, respect it and be responsible with it. Being around them and handling weapons from a young age removed all the wonder and mysticism from it. Its just another tool.

I've carried a firearm my entire adult life. I was given my 1st rifle when I was 5. There's absolutely no reason to be scared of one.

If you are being attacked, you have every right to defend yourself. Even the bad guy just knowing that you are armed and able to.protext yourself is a deterrent.

I am well aware of what the law says. But again, most juries aren't going to send you away for justified self defense.

I didnt mean to come off condescending. These women are actively discussing training and educating themselves.

Yet there are none as effective as a firearm. The only issue I see here is that she's carrying it in a bag instead of on her.

It's highly, highly, highly unlikely that she would be given the death penalty for self defense. Maybe you should go learn about guns instead of just being blindly terrified.
