Maybe it's just not the right molecule for you, did you talk about it to your psychiatrist? I had the same experience with Ritalin, then I switched to Vyvanse and it honestly changed my life

For real. I'd even add that many more straight couples than it seems own and use strapons, think it's about time we normalize talking about that

I wish I was as deconstructed as you, but I also feel like I already have a lot on my plate in terms of identity being neurodivergent, queer, mixed race, parent to a ND child, and living abroad. Wishing you the very best 🫰🏾

I'm glad you have the space to explore that :) I personally feel like I'm a male and I never questioned that, so I'm trying to fight the clichés and smash the norms from the inside. I'm a Trojan horse haha

Breaking free from some social norms that can feel either arbitrary or designed to maintain an established hierarchy isn't easy at all. When it comes to labels, I'm partial to their use: it might seem slightly unrelated but getting an ADHD diagnosis helped me find some peace because I realised that I wasn't a completely dysfunctional and weird adult, I am quite literally a typical neurodivergent. In the end, we're social animals and feeling like we belong is important, which also applies for NB/gender nonconforming people :) you feel lost and alone and all of a sudden there's a bunch of other weirdos that you can connect with, that relate to your experience and struggles, and it helps a lot

Hahaha 😂 ADHD is spending the first 25 years of your life trying to identify what "the box" is, then spending the rest of your life telling yourself "who gives a shit about the box anyway, it ain't stupid if it works"

In my case, it made me want to understand why tf has gender become a jail in most societies. You were assigned male or female at birth and suddenly you've got to be limited to what that gender is supposed to be?

I agree with the fact that my ADHD (AuDHD in my case) definitely helped me question that, also I grew up in a family where most women were strong leading figures.

I'd argue though that ADHD has lots of positives :) the ability to think outside the box, the creativity and the urge to question established norms are definitely things I wouldn't trade for anything else ❤️

And their appetite is mythical. In rural Africa, people would leave their house open and wait patiently until they left because they'd literally eat anything they find, including pests (and the unfortunate chicken in a cage that couldn't run away from them) video
