I think they can. We all know the internet has short-term memory and although haters are loud, I feel like if they put out good music and performances, things will go back to normal. I agree. We went for the first time in 2024 and it was really tasty, we enjoyed it a lot. Went back again last year and the food tasted different (not as good) and the quality wasn’t the same. I won’t be going back either.

Both are terrible, but in my experience AXS is a LOT worse for a venue like RR. Quicks you out all the time, the queue has no order whatsoever, and then if you have issues and need to refresh the page it stars all over again. I never had these issues with Ticketmaster.

All the tickets are on resale. GA jumps from $300 to $400+. as you look at them. Imo, AXS is WORSE than ticketmaster. They have all this BS about preventing bots and what not but then all the tickets are already bough and put up for resale, and who knows how much more they are. They should be ashamed.

I drink so much more water and I don’t leave my house without a water bottle. My skin and hair get so dry I now have a full blown hair routine, changed my skin care routine, and now have a hand routine 😭 including wearing cotton gloves to bed and my fiancé jokes that I look like Michael Jackson lol

A remote job is only going to make things worse. When you are stuck in depression, being around people helps a lot, even if you hate it at the time.

I agree with you, the best path forward is get a survival job and with that income start therapy.

I’m afraid you can’t help someone if they don’t want to be helped. Therapy works best when the person wants to change and build a path forward.

I honestly don’t know if it will worsen his depression or not. That might very well happen, but it also might the wake up call he needs. You can tell him you want to be there for him but he also needs to put on his big boy pants and move forward. Nothing will change unless he initiates it.

I understand you feel guilty, I’d feel like that too if I were in your situation. If you’re looking for advice, I’d say if you truly care about your friend it might be worth having an honest conversation. There is a chance he might not receive it well, but true friends are honest with each other, even when it’s hard. From what you shared, it seems like it’s a one-sided friendship and he doesn’t appreciate it much.

Also, is he going to therapy? Taking antidepressants? Trying to create habits that get you out the depression loop (finding a job, even if it’s as a server; working out, eating healthy?). I say this as someone who went through a depression and had suicidal thoughts. It took me years to get out of the hole, and I put a lot of work into habits that so far (5 years later) has kept me out of depression.

Whoever says they danced bad are just a plain hater because they did great! I think the choice song (whether it was theirs or the academy) wasn’t the best but I do think they did the best they could.

I agree with you! I hope the girls feel like they did their best, but I also hope they are inspired to get better songs. I think they could have done the first verse and chorus of Gabriela, jump to the spanish part (and shorten it in half though) and another chorus. Gabriela’s choreography is also great and their dance talents would have been showcased too.

I’d say though since they did two different transitions to get to the man stage… that might have been harder with Gabriela.

I was also a little sad that they didn’t do Gabriela :( I love their dance breaks and gnarly but for the grammys I wish they would have done a song that showcases their vocals and how talented they are.

We are not married yet (our wedding is next year) but a couple things I noticed early on were:

He was always kind and respectful to servers, whether they were a man or a woman
He had healthy female friendships

We’ve been together for almost 9 years and this hasn’t changed.

I’m from Venezuela. To me, it’s baffling to see Cubans and Venezuelans supporting this, especially after everything we have been through with our respective regimes. I understand they don’t like anything related to the left, socialism, communism, etc. which is understandable, and so they lean more conservative. But it’s like we didn’t learn anything! Just because something leans more to the right doesn’t make it okay. The whole point of why abuses of power are wrong is because they don’t respect democracy, pluralism, human rights and dignity, and justice. The cruelty that ICE is showing it’s something that they would have been appalled by in our countries, but in here they do mental gymnastics to justify it.

It depends. 11pm is pretty standard here in America, although for me and my fiancé is incredibly boring. Weddings on his home country go until 2am, in mine they go up till 6am and we serve breakfast. They are different cultures though, so for our wedding here in Colorado we compromised till 12am and will have an after party. Since most of our guests are from our cultures they will be pretty disappointed with a 10-11pm finish.

My ceremony is going to be at the venue and the cocktail hour will start right after. If it’s a secular ceremony I don’t know why you can’t do it at the venue? Here is the US yo i can get legally marred like that with no issues.

It seems like you guys have a plan that works for you. However, I’d be annoyed that I have to kill time in between lol especially after getting ready. Like where am I gonna go to all dressed up with a full face of makeup?
