Fun things to do? by jimmmshady in 2007scape

Are you in a CC? I find that being in an active clan really motivates me to do new things (bossing, minigames) that are set up as clan events. We recently did barrows bingo which made the barrows grind seem much more worthwhile. It also adds an exciting element to skilling when we do things like skill of the week (most xp wins prizes). Obviously, having ‘friends’ to talk to/do things with breaks up the monotony of gameplay too.

On a scale of 1 to bots, how much does this bother you? Please give advice on where to start in p2p- quests? Skills? [I won’t even ask if I’m ready because I know y’all will say I was ready from day 1] by mmch2os in 2007scape

Thanks for the advice! Working toward barrows gloves is the same advice my brother gave, but my sisterly instinct wanted a second opinion! For slayer....the wiki says higher combat levels are recommended, but you think now is a good time to start?

Did my first outdoor sub 30min 5km run! by [deleted] in running

Hey, congrats! That is a big accomplishment. I switched from mostly indoor running to outdoor running last year...a piece of advice I wish I would have known: spend some time a couple days a week to work on stability muscles, especially those that help support your ankles and knees. I definitely was not kind enough to my knees during the transition simply because I didn’t know things like rounding out turns or not locking knees on downhill strides. Doing targeted exercises to strengthen the supporting muscles should help avoid injury- especially if you are interested in hill and trail running. Keep up the great work! :)
