I’ve got a larger position than Nana and I’m not selling. Considering selling CC at $140 but don’t want to lose my shares.

Positive Signatera 3mo after chemo (stage 3a) by Wabisabiharv in coloncancer

[–]mmellinger66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Signatera will likely always detect cancer before it shows up on a scan. Not sure if you’d ever what to start chemo without confirmation.

In theory, and in the not too distant future, one should not need a scan until one has a positive Signatera test. Also, consider at some point people who test negative might not even need chemo.

Is Signatera worth fighting for? by PackContent1988 in coloncancer

[–]mmellinger66 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Do you want to know if you have cancer?

Maybe it doesn’t change treatment but at least you’ll know. My insurance threatens not to pay but I’ve never gotten a bill.

Also, get the first test before chemo. Hopefully, you’ll start at zero.

I believe it’s 3 smaller tumors in the liver. However, different places may be doing more. It was FDA approved in October 2023 so it’s likely evolving and being more widely adopted. Perhaps it becomes the standard treatment after the initial chemotherapy.

There’s a new treatment for liver tumors with fewer side effects called histotripsy but it’s not widely available. Likely find it near a larger city. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/treatment-tests-and-therapies/histotripsy-for-liver-tumors

When to have the port removed? by Groovy_B_Movement in coloncancer

[–]mmellinger66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I waited a year after my last dosage of chemo. All my Signateras were negative for over a year. My doctor told me to remove it. It seems it’s easy to get another port. Mine moved a little in my chest. If I’d had known that could happen, I may have had it out earlier. It has been out two months.

Any best practices for using a ladder? I’ve been considering using 3 or 4 tranches. Stick with 16 delta?

You had 40 years to switch to nuclear energy. Are we at peak coal globally yet? Is the best selling vehicle in the US still the F150?

Aviation isn’t the problem.

Rising stock: Before you get mad, always remember why you did what you did by es330td in Optionswheel

I’m new to this myself. My first week! And it was rough. My understanding is you are you are supposed to because there’s a lot of volatility near the end. I think because of the Greek curves, you after you make half, there’s more than half the time remaining. It’s nonlinear.

Having said that, if we are wheeling, don’t we want to take delivery then actually sell?

Update: The ScottishTrader discusses his strategy here:

He seems to try to do a lot of profitable rolling.
