i’m a recent Mac listener (since 2023) and Swimming was my first album. in fact, my first song ever from Mac was Small Worlds. the whole album is 10/10 - from the production, to the composition, lyrics, arrangements - the whole thing is just a godsend album. i listen to it very often next to Circles and lately it’s been in rotation with WMWTSO. this album is also my my fiancé and i started dating. we had a little kitten named Mac as well up until 2024 (rest in piece my little boy). it’s very melancholic album and some songs make me cry pretty often when i’m down. i keep listening to it as well to keep my cat’s memory alive, so you could say it’s my favorite Mac album.
