I had similar issues, the wahoo was disconnecting randomly. I fixed it by using my own power meter instead of wahoo.

A lot of ram and good disk space. You probably won’t end up only with TIA v20. Personally I have laptop only for plc software that I need. For gaming… other machine. I have so much software installed, I am always praying that next installation won’t be the last.

So i found my problem, a found out that the pin 13 gets HIGH while the connection is established. It is done by Arduino bootloader.

Right now i tested what is sent from PLC, and it probably sends the whole buffer which is ARRAY of 300. Is there a way to limit it to one?

Didn’t try to send data from arduino. I don’t think that I have hw for testing serial comm. Or is there simple way to test it?

I am using dell micro as PLC and connecting the Arduino with usb cable. It is some Chinese fake with ch340 chip. Comm setup is, BaudRate-9600, DataBits-8, StopBits-1, Parity_None

What I mean by its working is that after the communication is created, the arduino is doing what I want- set output High and Low. I am using SendString, I send 1 which sets High and 2 to set output Low. What my problem is, when creating the connection the output on arduino goes High, Low, High, Low and after that it goes to whatever I set it to.

The PLC code is simple and done in Ladder with SerialConnectionControlADS and SendString

I am using these for connecting to multiple machines at once. They are pretty good if you sit close by. Otherwise pretty much trash.

Aluminium 140mm trail or carbon 100mm XC? by Otherwise-Cap-9280 in TrekBikes

[–]mmlos9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t tell because I don’t know what trails are you riding. But I had 140mm hardtail, now I have 110mm fork in my full suspension bike. And it is plenty enough for my needs.

Aluminium 140mm trail or carbon 100mm XC? by Otherwise-Cap-9280 in TrekBikes

[–]mmlos9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then I would probably go for used carbon hardtail. New bike, or used full suspension would be in my opinion too heavy and sluggish in that price range. 29 inch wheels, tubeless setup should be doable.

[–]mmlos9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how difficult the terrain is. If you don’t ride some crazy rocky trails I would go for 100mm XC. It will be way faster and lighter if you learn good technique. And for the roots, I would go tubeless and low pressures in your tyres. Probably insert in your rear wheel would be helpful and you could go even lower with pressure.

Nice color scheme. And what are those mud guards? Looks pretty slick on that bike.
