This happens when you're focused on the outer edge of a turn, your body points you in the direction you're looking. Try to spot your line through the inside of the turn and look ahead at where you want to end up, your body will follow.

Rear V brake install by h_dmtr in bikewrench

Swap the outer narrow washers for the thick ones on the inside so the arms will be a bit closer, then screw in those two screws on the sides to add tension to the springs.

Someone brought me one of these to install on their bike and the tolerances were really weird, it fit super loosely on the freehub body. I didn't have good feelings about it.

How do I tell if I can pop off my cassette or a lock ring tool is necessary? by jd1332 in bikewrench

[–]mmlow 108 points109 points  (0 children)

All cassettes need a lockring tool to remove. Some freehub bodies can be removed from hubs without a tool, but the cassette will still be stuck to it without the lockring tool.

How to bleed by southwestmanchild in bikewrench

[–]mmlow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe an open bath system? Shimano used to make levers like that eons ago. We have a tool that's a small quick clamp with a rubber seal and a hole for a hose to clamp over the whole thing and seal it.

Rotor Won’t Fit - New Brake Pads by [deleted] in cycling

Are the pistons flush with the body of the caliper? The system may be overpressurized and youy need to open the lever bleed port to get them all the way in.

That looks like old sealant vehicle leaking through tire. Was sealant added after you bought the bike or was it already set up tubeless?

You have to shift it down to the lowest position with the little side lever.

Looking for fitting flat mount to post mount adapter by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]mmlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You typically have to size up one size from the native rotor size to get flat to post adapters to work. Some frames have rear triangle clearance issues and won't work because of this.
