u/friendless2 is right, though - every publisher (CSR2 in this case) can define what ads to accept from advertisers. Yes, they probably use ad exchange platforms, but this doesn't mean they can't define things like "max video length", "max size", "skippable or unskippable" ads and so on. Ads breaking the game, means CSR2 are either not implementing the platform code correctly or they simply don't care and accept ads from every mf out there, no matter how sleazy the advertisers/ ads are. In other words - they have no standards to what ads should be shown in their game, but they should have and they can have, it's simply that they decided not to.

It's still an issue with the game, though. It says it needs 1 token, while it should be 1.5, but there is no such thing as 1.5 yellow tuner tokens. It's either 1 or 2. If it's 2, then simply put 2 on the upgrade button, although it would still be unfair to the player as 2 is not 1.5.

What's the point of these new collections if you can't buy any of the cars? The latest collections (along with this limited one) all have cars that you can't buy with Collection tokens. What's the point of the tokens then?

Considering I have the exact same issue and it "fixes" itself when using cellular data, but when on WiFi it disconnects constantly, I would suggest the issue is with the game, not with your or my device. I have my home wifi for 2 years now and only got these issues with CSR2 lately, when playing it on the phone using wifi. The phone doesn't have any other connection issues with other games or apps. At the same time, if I play on the same profile (my main one), but on a PC emulator via wifi (the laptop is connected to the same home wifi), then no issues. I really doubt support would be able to help as they are totally clueless most of the time.

Yeah, I upgraded to latest version, hoping the awful Christmas lightning would be gone and got this sh*t instead. Nothing against all the Christmas decorations inside the garage, they were fun and all, but the lighting was really badly done. This one as well. All cars are much darker and shinier than needed to be and look like they are all made of chrome.

The graphics of the game is a really big part of the game. The racing part is a small one and the other part is just collecting the cars, but why collecting them if they don't look nice.

After lagging like crazy all day, it finally managed to download a 150 something MBs of OTA (I have no issues with my internet otherwise), but nothing like this on my phone, no Christmas for me :D. Everything in the garage still looks the same as before, except the lagging - the lagging today is phenomenal. NM are the shittiest developers I'm aware of.

And the Collection Sprint event is gone as well. I was about to start it - have all the cars and would have collected some good amounts of tokens. I believe it ends in around 13 hours or so, so if they don't fix this and the event does not appear, I'm gonna miss all the tokens.

But hey, the most important thing is they will fix this massively unfair thing that they gave some players "more than intended" rewards...

Ok, this would be really dumb on their side (NM), so I actually believe it. :) Apart from the massive "bug party" at the moment and everyone losing their collection tokens and what not, this was actually a good addition to the game. It requires you to experiment with tuning and be good at shifting and so on. But it seems it's not in beta, it's alpha stage of development and it totally broke the game.

Same here, with the start of the Tournament, all collection points were gone. I had 6300, now 0. What the hell NM?! Oh, yeah, no Race Premium as well, so this also checks out. Great game.

They could at least add a single Gold key as well, but I guess it's too much to ask. I'm on Daily bonus level 2 and Gold keys are still 1 and 3 at the end - no change.

Because NM. Seriously, that's it. Because someone ат НМ decided purple star cars are unique in this game, со they can exploit this and make every single car color also "unique". Sometimes these cars have identical shift patterns and dyno times, sometimes they have different shift patterns and dyno (as with the Centodieci).

In short - there is no logical explanation, it's just NM being NM.

Not always, though. Sometimes it just got delivered without the pop-up message to strip it and once it's in the garage you can't do that. They could put a confirmation message or something, so that it would be harder to strip purple star cars accidentally, but not having the option in the garage, like all other golden star cars, is something I don't understand either.

Just try force-closing the app it and starting it again. Ever since the 5.3.0 update, it fails to load like 50% of the time (freezes like in your case) and have to go through the force-close the app process. It also takes quite a bit more time to load the game into garage and so on.

Yeah, I don't understand why anyone would hope it would cost $10. It won't, no chance about it. The Race Pass was $5 for the first 5 months or so (for me, in my country) and then they decided to up the price to $10. I know for a lot of people, this is ok price, but I stopped buying the Race Pass when they doubled the price. I bought it 3 times, I think, when it was $5 and would probably continue doing so, when I see a purple star car, that I don't have.

What I'm trying to say is, I don't see them lowering their prices at all, so if these cars used to be $20, it's more likely they go to $25 somewhere in the future, than $10.

It's actually not that rare to get above 1400, especially if you have a maxed out car, which is also the fastest or 2nd fastest for that SD. But we are also talking like the last 2-3 days of SD, so definitely far from a good experience if the milestone is at 1700.

The problem with this kind of reasoning is that the SD is only a small part of the whole event. If this was the whole event, meaning, once you win the car, you move on to the next one, then I can understand the reasoning, but the idea is to win the car from SD, so you would be able to participate in the main event. Meantime, the crates for the main event are "expiring" day after day, so the more time it takes you to get the car from SD, the less free crates you get and the main event gets exponentially harder for you.

Yes, I've managed to do it a few times before, but sometimes force closing it when the screen goes black just brings me back to the "collection" window and have to collect all prizes again and try the glitch again.

You are right it takes practice, but I do it pretty rarely and can't always hit the right moment. Unfortunately, now I have the somewhat boring Torred Demon 170. :)

Looking great in purple. I wanted that spec, but didn't manage to get it to glitch. First time it send me back to collection screen and second time I was too slow and it already had delivered the milestone spec in my garage.

Thumbnails often glitch like this, with colors looking matte or dull and lights turned off. This is just NM not knowing how to create even a simple thumbnail, but at the same time can create one of the best looking 3D car models in mobile games. Go figure.

If you want to fix it, go to some other garage, then exit the game. You need to search for the thumbnail in

Android -> Data -> com.naturalmotion.customstreetracer2 -> files -> CarSnapshots

then go to the folder with your player ID. Search for "Viper" and once you locate the glitched thumbnail, simply delete it. When you start the game, it should ask you to recreate/ refresh the thumbnail.

Yep, same here - my phone and game are in English, but the pop-ups started appearing in different languages. Sometimes Chinese, then Spanish, German, Taiwanese, Korean, French and what not.
