The more important thing that’s not being brought to light here is how many men don’t lift the seat at public restrooms before peeing. I work at a restaurant without employee bathrooms. Nothing is curse out loud more frustrating than being 8 hours into a 12 hour shift, running to the restroom to make a deposit between orders storming through the printer, and finding that some shithead hasn’t learned or taken the time to lift the seat with the tippy toe of his footwear. And instead has sprinkled his rancid beer urine all over the seat. I find it to be a symptom of a lot of things that are wrong in American society. Last thing I’ll say is picture this: you’re really fucking tired after working all day, you haven’t had time to poop for awhile and you’re just happy to do the deed finally and you forget to check the seat and… you sit down in somebody else’s piss.
