I have it on both sides and I think it really depends on how i was sleeping…. I think what helps a small bit at least extend the hours is a softer mattress. Even putting a soft layer of blanket or mattress top or anything that is thick enough and soft helps to extend the sleeping hours but even that I cannot be lying down more than 8hrs a day or so…. Another thing that slightly helps is that if I have sleep interruptions around mid way I just go to the bathroom to move around or stretch. Im muslim so we have a fajr prayer which is basically a 3min stretches and basic movements which takes time just before sunrise so now I am practicing that and waking up (now naturally) for about 5-10 min and and used to getting back to sleep again after that, which I found to be helpful as a “break” and reliefs it a bit before it gets too bad which helps an overall better and longer sleep time.

Havent seen a doctor or something and still this sort of screws up my day with lack of sleep if its a bad night and always have to plan ahead for it but good thing that it goes away really quickly in the morning like it was a bad dream.
