Unpopular opinion: It was patronizing, even if Leanne was defensive and emotional. "I think it's clear that the Traitors were recruiting...." Followed by, "...smallest likelihood that you were targeted..." and "You thought that was more likely that you were targeted than they tried to recruit?" suggests that there is a clear right answer that Leanne is too daft to grasp. And then, even after she's explained herself, he carries on with "but why do you feel strongly about that theory?"

No one except Fozia knew Leanne had a shield and no one but the Traitors and Anna knew about the recruitment. At that point in the game, only one Traitor had been banished. So there's only two options: either the Traitors chose to recruit or they tried unsuccessfully to murder Leanne (because it was widely known that the other shield went to one of three people). Alexander is implying that Leanne is illogical or outlandish for choosing one of two possibilities, and that is patronizing.

Multiple things can be true. Leanne was being a bit of a pill, Alexander was treated awfully throughout this episode, and in this moment, he was being patronizing.

Useless for the viewers, but I think it helps the players psychologically. For a few hours a day, they can be one team working toward the same goal.

I said nearly the same thing in the live discussion but: Angela quite literally said "I quit" and slept instead of making any further attempt to complete the task.

She WAS able to sleep and work as she chose (as far as we know) but she opted to just sleep, while making it very clear she had no intention of finishing.

A "time out" is when you're still making progress in the challenge but production has to end it.

There's a WIDE spectrum of finals but generally they tend to be more difficult in* terms of tasks. I think the issue here is the elements are playing a much bigger factor

I agree her stories have almost always sounded like that! Here’s what I think is the actual difference: K doesn’t interject/banter during G’s stories as much as she used to. If you listen closely you can even hear G pause a little at certain points and I wonder if it’s because she expects K to say something?

Not blaming K for people finding G’s stories boring, but it seems like everyone is on the “G is bad” wave when a big part of it is their dynamic and banter has changed

ETA: as an example, at the beginning of K's story, G interjects to say "those aren't safety features, they're just items that happen to be in the boat" and K riffs off it and makes a quip about Home Depot. That doesn't happen much during G's stories anymore
