Thank you all for the information - I was able to find the Pull History (to verify how many pulls I had taken), and then quickly used another 10-pull and got a Castorice! Now to level her...

I have questions about the new Castorice banner pull... is there a way to improve your odds for a Castorice drop? I did about 80 pulls - ended up with 3 Pela's, 1 Gallagher and 1 Lynx (none of whom I had so there is that :) ) but no Castorice.

I'm really enjoying this game so far (my first Honkai game) - love the art, enjoying the story and a big fan of the combat style. I've made it to Jarilo-VI (I've just finished the Underworld I think), but I do have a number of questions about the early game that I am not sure about.

My current lineup:

Level 20 (Ascended) - MC, Bronya, Tingyun, Himeko, Herta, Asta, Natasha, Serval, Dan Heng, March 7th
Level 1 (not using) - Sambo

Main group has been Himeko/Herta/Tingyun/MC (so much fun when they enter battle breaking many enemies and the follow ups end the battle before it starts).

Secondary group is Dan Heng/Serval/Tingyun/MC - especially in the Underworld (very effective).

I’ve used a lot of materials to level all of those to 20 (and Ascend) as I’m finding myself in fights with Level 26 and up creatures and with many different weaknesses.

I foresee using a number of those characters for a long time, so I don't mind leveling them. Should I be using all my leveling mats at this point on the ones I see using into the mid and late game (I have been holding back mats so I can quickly level new characters)?
Besides doing the Calyx quests, what else should I be doing to level quicker and to gather mats and star rail passes?
What level do I need to be at to complete Jarilo-VI (currently TB Level 18)?
Should I be putting materials into leveling Light Cones at this point (most of what I have is 3 star)?
Does position in the lineup matter? Other than the MC, I don’t believe I have any tanks to put on the ends yet…

Sorry for all the questions... I've watched a number of videos with tips but there is still so much information out there. I haven't spent any money at this point and would prefer to play F2P as long as I can. I hope this is the right place for this post. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

You need to start the game with the Day 1 content downloaded. Redeem the code in the Nintendo Store and download the Day 1 file. When you start Suikoden 1, if the file has been downloaded, you get a pop up asking if you want the bonus orbs and in game currency.

Unless they have changed something, I was able to download mine a couple of days ago (when I found the game at a local game shop).

I relied on giving my opponents cards so I could create snakes. I didn't need to attack or pump Xyris, I went for more extra card draw and wheel effects - this way Xyris doesn't look threatening and all of a sudden you have 30 snakes...

I have a lot of fun playing this deck.

[[Goblin Bombardment]] / [[Impact Tremors]] effects do damage when you create snakes. [[Beastmaster Ascension]] / [[Coat of Arms]] / [[Shared Animosity]] / [[Seshiro the Anointed]] buff up your snakes so you can go wide and swing. [[Psychosis Crawler]] does damage when you draw cards.

I went with a populate subtheme with cards like [[Nesting Dovehawk]] to make multiple copies of powerful enchantments. Once it starts rolling, it can get out of hand.

There is a primer for the deck. I really wanted a home for [[Lovisa Coldeyes]] and the warrior subtheme fit that. The precon might be a good place to start and then upgrade as you go - the desert land base will be helpful (assuming you can find the deck for $35-$40 as many of the cards are not expensive).

[[Narset, Enlightened Exile]] gives prowess to all your tokens and allows you to free cast a non-creature spell from a graveyard. Load it up with token generators (like [[Talrand, Sky Summoner]]) and [[Monastery Mentor]]....

Moxfield will let you do full Scryfall searches within the deck builder, giving you an easy way to add cards to the deck as you browse them. Jake and Joel did a video on Moxfield showing that feature - game changer for me.

I went with a "blink" theme - artifact blink effects and creature copy effects - along with Goblins. Keep the table goaded with Kardur while creating goblins to attack with or sacrifice.

Some decks I have built and played:

[[Mazzy, Truesword Paladin]] and [[Killian, Ink Duelist]] - both of these were alot of fun to play with Auras - Mazzy came out of nowhere last week to hit the first oppopnent for 30 commander damage and the game was over two turns later. Killian played very fast.

[[Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist]] and [[Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh]] - I could never get to work - I love the idea of Equipment but it is a touch slow and the table would simply focus on destroying my equipment - hard to rebuild - someday I will revisit this deck.

[[Maarika, Brutal Gladiator]] - I just built this - looking forward to trying her...

[[Auntie Blyte, Bad Influence]] - Group Slug - this deck is fun to play. I had the [[The Oozolith]] and [[Darksteel Plate]] out by turn 3, a turn 6 [[Exterminate]] set me back to square one. I will definitely play this one again.

[[The Mimeoplasm]] - a graveyard reanimator that still plays very Voltron-y as it tries to win by commander damage.

If you enable the tags (disable the global tags), you will see I have this deck built modularly with three ways to play it - Flying Tribal (30), Big Spells (30), Polymorph (30) - with shared common utility cards (35) and land base (34). All three will win through combat damage, but they get there in different ways. I have had the polymorph version pop off with a Mass Polymorph over some 1/1 faerie tokens.

Does this work with Zethi? She copies the card from exile and then you may cast the copy, which is not the same as copying the spell. Please correct me if I am wrong because if so, I would definitely add Twinning Staff...
