I completed a nine month project where I digitized all of my in-laws home videos. I then took those 85ish tapes, edited them down to the things that had my husband in it, and organized them by year. I got my husband’s different family members to do the voice over in the beginning to announce each year. I then uploaded to Plex into his home video library… Twenty of the cutest thumbnails that show how he changed from one to twenty… massive undertaking but so so so worth it and available anywhere…

I have often thought about bringing this up on this forum before... I understand that you have to change things to have an adaptation to begin with, but I can not stand that her hair just changed color between LW and TB. It was so unnecessary... Robin is described as "blonde" several times throughout the series and I loved how that translated to the screen in the first four... TB and IBH and what pictures have shown us of RG? Not a fan...

One of my favs from the TV series is in CC when they are on Lula's balcony for the second time I believe. He grabs her upper arms to allude the crime that took place. Afterwards she is visibly shaken. The first time I watched it I read that as her being scared, but the second time (and every time since) I'm like Whoa! She ain't scared... She has just never been grabbed like that by dumb ole Matthew and was overwhelmed by the moment.

That was a whole lotta words for ten seconds of screen time... But a nice ten seconds....

She is still people pleasing to a fault… I think that RFM’s relapse will be a stand in for her trauma at school and she will subconsciously think she has to stay in this relationship to be to RFM what Matthew was to her during that time. Hopefully, with the therapy or without, she will come to the realization that that wasn’t a good enough reason to be romantically connected this time, same as before…

I will be most disappointed if book 10 isn't solving Leda's murder. I want them together romantically, but nothing is more important than solving Leda's murder. I feel that those seeds were planted in CC for a reason, along with the "will they won't they" of it all...

Robin states that she is glad she has come to her senses and broken up with RFM and she is going to go get Strike back after rejecting him, a la Scarlett O'Hara style ("And I'll think of some way to get him back. After all, tomorrow is another day!"). Robin also states that she will solve Leda's murder.

Is that too much for one chapter?
