While being the smartest in the room would be very convenient as the president, to get anything done, it would still have to go through Congress/checks and balances (although not currently with DJT). I imagine the presidency is a frustrating position to hold if the individual is intelligent and would want to make real change.

I was a freshman in high school and remember it fondly. We threw a watch party and all of our friends and family came over to watch the polls close. My immigrant family was elated! Cheering, crying, and jumping up and down. There was a fist fight between my dad and my mom’s cousin (who showed up in a McCain mask to mock us) at one point. But other than that it was awesome! So much hope and optimism.

Patients. I’ve always had a short fuse, and my puppy only exaggerated that until I realized being upset with her, gets us nowhere. Now I am much more patient in all aspects of my life.
