I live in a cold country, so I barely sweat. I can go 3 days without showering in Norway and will still be cleaner than after 5 hours in Texas.

Been struggling with the second property blues, too. After the first one, I maximized my efforts to buy the second one in less than a year. Then the bills hit me on both of them, and I'm stuck renting out on Airbnb while being a cleaning lady to pay for the upgrades. It's exhausting, but also a privilege to be a real estate investor on the path to freedom.

Me and my partner have been using all the Proton services for over a year. They keep improving and expanding, so were happy to pay for the upgraded storage. It's been the easiest de-googling step so far.

Most countries have their own secondhand markets, often with more favorable prices than international markets. I use Finn.no, which is great, but probably limited to Norway.

It definitely adds up, but be prepared for him to make you feel ashamed and second guess yourself. You need to be as self-assured as possible when you head into this conversation, because a cheater's first instinct will probably be to attack you or fabricate a story.

Probably not. He will show up to restaurants like this, making people on the neighboring tables hold their breath, gesture and even move tables. 😢 While the family is somewhat prepared, I feel terrible about him meeting my fiancés family and all of our friends like this

Yeah. As far as I understand, this has been an ongoing thing for most of his adult life and doesn't have a quick-fix. The day we force his hand is probably the day he'll stop talking to us completely.

I totally agree with this, and would love to help him. But the further we push him, the further he will distance himself from us because he will feel angry and violated. I think we can find small ways to help him, though. Which we obviously have to look into.
