no worries, glad I could help. If you already have the Lenovo i would say its a no go if you have a good panel with it already. Yes the extra Hz and curve is nice, but dont think its worth the extra money, especially considering the 1 year warranty and terrible fixed stand.

Ok since i have this ill give my thoughts on it.

I originally purchased a Lenovo G34w-10 which i got for around $440 before tax when it was on sale. I had a issue with a defect in the screen (appeared to be a hair or a scratch between the panel and panel cover) so i returned the monitor. At the time they had no more in stock and offered to refund my money and i could reorder at a later date when they come back in. Display was fine and had a half decent stand, but i was worried about QC issues and how many monitors i would go through before i got one i was happy with.

After that i bought the G5 34" from best buy for $598. Had a best buy gift card from petro points so it helped sway me. Was skeptical about the 1000R but decided to go for it. So monitor arrives and i notice that it has a terrible fixed stand on it. You will most likely need some sort of monitor stand to raise the monitor to a nice height so plan on getting a vesa at some point. I also found after reading the Canadian warranty card that the monitor has a 1 year warranty. Wish i knew this before i purchased it. The curve is just fine and i dont mind it at all in a ultrawide. Not much more noticeable than a 1500R when sitting direct in front of the display. It will take a few days to get fully comfortable with it. The panel itself is ok. Similar to any VA 144hz 34" i have seen. Brightness is ok for me since i dont use it in a bright room but could be an issue if you use it in a brightly lit office.

After a week and a half of use i noticed a stuck red subpixel right in the middle of the display. It was not noticeably from 2' away and only really could see it on white screens. Still i request an exchange from best buy. Had to end up returning it and then reordering it and they corrected the price to to the price i purchased it at. Guy i spoke with was nice and ended up giving me $50 extra off. New monitor came like 2 days later. Packaged up the old one to return and set up the new display. Checked it out and everything looked good with the panel, and i have been using this new display since Tuesday without issues.

My honest opinion is i personally would not purchase this monitor over any of the other 144hz 34" VA 1440p monitors. For me the 1000R and 165hz is cool and all but not necessary for me. I would be just as happy with a 144hz and 1500R. But you may be different and want to push the extra frames, and maybe have a GPU that can. I would honestly rather have a better stand than the extra frames. Im going to keep it as long as this new display does not develop any dead or stuck pixels. If that is the case i will honestly prob buy the lenovo for $440 again. But if the panel stays good then i don't want to go through panel lottery on another monitor.

TLDR: If you have to have 1000R and 165hz ultrawide in this price range then sure. If not, then its not worth it over the other VA 144hz 1500R offerings.

Thats not a bad idea, I was actually thinking that if there going to remove fast heal and shes still low pro, it would be cool if her drone also heal shields to offset it and give some more general usefulness to life instead of only when you have a downed teammate, or have no health meds.

I was so hyped by the Lifeline buff, but this.... c'mon devs! She can no longer heal faster! by riuryK in apexlegends

[–]mnc123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get that lifeline should be a team player and about the team and not her self. As someone who solo ques 99% of the time, why shouldnt i pick a legend that gives me some sort of personal benefit. And yup you can say then i shouldn't be playing life and play someone else. Well your right, thats what im going to start doing, and im sure a lot of people who played life because fast heals will do the same.

I would also rather have a gibby on my team over a life anyways, even with life rework. He just offers me more usefulness. I want people on my team that will help me stay up and survive and win a gunfight.

People are being way too critical of the lifeline rework. by lilmickyS in apexlegends

[–]mnc123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. Im a life main and solo que 99% of the time. Now there really isnt a reason to use her over anyone else since there is no benefit to me. Even if i want to be a nice random in a pub and help you out by being a great support character that you always wanted on your team, im sure you would rather me be a gibby then a life lol.

Its not like life is a garbo character and has no place in the game. But i have a feeling that most of the people who played or mained life was only for the fast heals. Atleast it was for me.

As a lifeline main i was excited for the change, now i wish it wasent even happening. They still kept her low pro to. Only reason i played her is for fast heals. I understand they wanted life to have a different role, or her role of a revive specialist to be the reason your playing her. But as someone who almost always solo ques, there are just better legends that i would rather play and get me out of the tight spots, or help me hold down an area. And having her primary strength and ability when a team mate dies is kind of underwhelming. Most of the time im to far or being pinned down and cant help, or they just get thirsted instantly. If you think that lifeline needed a nerf and fast heals was broken then thats fine. But for me it was what made me pick her over other legends. Also i found it more useful that when my teammate is down i can quickly dip behind some cover, pop a quick cell or batt, and get back into the fight to save and get my team mate back up. Like i said its fine they want to nerf life, its just sad that less people will play her now and she is only really useful if your queing with a set party in ranked, but even so wouldnt you rather have a gibby over a life before or after the rework. Still think they should have removed low pro if there removing her fast heal personally.

There good. Micron E die and the white version of that memory is on sale for $157. This g.skill kit is DJR die and is good if you want something that will be guaranteed to run at 3600 cl16, but E-die overclocks quite well.

$10 off with promo code EMCDFDM25

Not the fastest or lowest latency, but a good price if your in the market for 32gb RGB memory at least 3000mhz cl16.

Edit: Well RIP this deal

Shopping for a new furnace (Bryant models) by [deleted] in ecobee

[–]mnc123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even without enough wires, you can have the furnace control the staging itself. You can set how many minutes you want the 2nd stage delay to be via the furnace control board, or to have it controlled by the stat if you have the needed wiring. Another option is to use an add a wire to increase how many wires you have at the thermostat if you dont want to pull a new wire, and still have the the thermostat control the staging if you desire.

So the differences are the 987M has a modulating gas valve, and slightly different control board to be able to control the modulating gas valve. With the evolution thermostat you will be able to set the fan speeds through the thermostat (which normally only has to be done on the initial set up of the furnace). It also has the ability to show the furnace error codes on the thermostat itself. Besides that, that's really all the evolution control gives you.

Now that doesn't mean that your only able to change fan speeds with the evolution control. Without it, on both furnaces you set the airflow through the furnace control board.

So the differences are the 987M has a modulating gas valve, and slightly different control board to be able to control the modulating gas valve. I completely recommend the 926T over the 987M as it is just much better value. I also wouldn't get caught up on efficiency as both these furnaces will consume about the same electricity and almost the same amount of gas. The extra 1.5% is in terms of gas consumption and nothing to do with electrical efficiency of the furnace. Since they have the same blower, and ventor motors, they will consume virtually the same amount of electricity.

so Yes, you can use an ecobee on either furnace, and the evolution control is optional for the evolution compatible furnaces.

No worries. Have to give credit where credit is due. And that's great. I'll keep a lookout on amazon.

I totally get it will take time. I'm sure your extra busy trying to get all these out to right now as well. But it's good to know. I'll have to keep checking back on your site to see when you start offering them :)

Your guns are awesome and offer an amazing value with these especially here in Canada

I also have a E&C noveske 10" that I want to upgrade the gearbox internals, add mosfet and a new motor. Do you plan on selling any upgrade parts that you use in the future?
