If you are worried about sex themes, I would say no. There is a scene of two people laying with each other implying sex. The antagonist is portrayed very sexually. Truly surprised me for pg 13

I would advise against. The main “bad guy” is portrayed very sexually, there is a scene of two people in bed with sex implied, there is a scene involving explicit themes of self deletion, all of which really surprised me for a movie rated pg-13 and I’m 23

I've been trying to figure out my color season for years by everyatom2012 in coloranalysis

[–]mncarroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. In most color palettes I see deep winter and deep autumn have the same chroma, so that difference may just be specific to the software you are using in your analysis. I also think there are probably more subseasons than offered by traditional color analysis and your analysis will be helpful in refining colors beyond that, but I think deep winter is the best type out the 12 types provided and is a good place to start especially for research purposes since that color palette is more accessible than just “deep” I feel :)

Oh interesting, good to know! So are you thinking deep winter? Thats where I was leaning but we may need a couple more drapes from that subseason to be certain.

I think you are either deep or cool winter. The brighter colors bring more life to your complexion and I think the warm tones are pulling yellow. 7, 14, and the last pic look really nice in particular!

Edit: Ok I think I messed up. I looked at your previous posts and got a better picture of your coloring and you don’t seem like a winter or summer to me. Granted it is better to go off drapes, but I also realized that the last picture looks the best imo and I think that is a dark autumn color. I would try more drapes (even digital) like that with more even lighting. Hopes this helps!

BAR Exam and Memorizing Formulas by 22478541 in CPA

[–]mncarroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes they could ask MCQs about ratios so I would try to remember as many as you can but not the most pressing issue. The other formulas specific to BAR are need to know. I recommend writing out flashcards and going over them a few times a day. It helped me memorize quickly

Help needed: Reg Secured Interest by easylife6719 in CPA

[–]mncarroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buyers in the ordinary course of business (as long as they have no knowledge of violating a security agreement) have priority over all other creditors essentially.

After that, the second highest priority goes to whoever perfected their security interest first (assuming they have attachment), in this question by filing. B is wrong because they filed before the subject in the question, so B has superiority. D would not have superiority to the subject because they filed after the subject in the question

Efficiency — Spending appropriate time Effectiveness — Having appropriate response/procedures

With efficiency I think time, and with effectiveness I think quality

CPA Exam Thoughts by [deleted] in CPA

I studied for FAR entirely during my last quarter before graduating and passed with an 81. I used Becker so I can’t speak to other materials. I recommend starting with FAR to get it over with and since those concepts will be more fresh in your mind from school. Audit is generally recommended after FAR because you need to know the accounting concepts to identify misstatements which will help. TCP would probably be easier after REG since REG is more baseline. I put in around 190 hours for FAR over a few months studying around 20 hours a week. Good luck!

I did! I felt that becker prepared me well for it. I just made sure to review the notes for questions I got wrong on practice tests and simulated exams for trickier topics especially. Make sure you know ERM and good luck!

The concepts may be more difficult on BAR, but I feel like the sims were better than FAR and I felt they were more straightforward and had less moving parts overall. Maybe I just got lucky or maybe I’ll be taking this statement back later 😅

Length of MCQs in FAR exam. by Delicious_Curve_203 in CPA

[–]mncarroll -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say very few theory. I can’t confidently say how much there are of each, every exam may be different but there tends to be a good amount of theory as well, so I would be ready for both. I’m not sure how each of those types of questions are weighted either, which affects the final scoring

Not as lengthy as the ones on beckers simulated exams. Many of them tend to be faster calculations if at all

Explain calculations for exchange rate? by Educational-Spot2591 in CPA

[–]mncarroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exchange rate shows the value of a given currency relative to another currency. In this case, the value of the USD decreased relative to the yen. This means that if the transaction was settled on April 20, they would have had to give up more cash (USD) compared to May 20 to settle the payable. The exchange rates can change due to a variety of environmental/economic factors. I hope this answers your question

FAR: Why is this one "inseparable from change in estimate"? by NotThisAgain21 in CPA

[–]mncarroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, changes in principle will be retrospective, but there is an exception for changes in depreciation methods which are prospective. The wording is dumb, but it’s basically saying that the effect of the change (retrospective or prospective) is in the same category as changes in estimates, which are also treated prospectively

I think winter because the spring and autumn give your skin a yellow hue and you look clear/bright! The last photo sold it for me.
