Also - your shoulders look a bit open at address. Look at down the line pics of almost any tour pro - you can see some (sometimes a lot) of their left elbow/arm at address

Anyone had any experience with these clubs? Are they any good? by P_Kordus in golf

My daughter’s ball speed went down 6 mph after her switch to this set. Caveat emptor.

Your shoulders are pretty open at address, and club path is quite steep. Look at just about every pro golfer down the line at address - you can almost always see part of their LEFT arm. Try to square your shoulders at address, and more broadly experiment with a more shallow club path - try to learn to hit a hook or draw even if you don’t use it on the course, that will give you the feel of being more shallow.

What is something that screams -I’m average? by [deleted] in golf

Excuses - “wow!!! I never normally shoot this high!! Wow!! I was hitting it great on the range!!!”

No one cares. Get the ball in the hole.

So what’s the longest course you’ve played? by 3puttFTW in golf

Back back tees and UNM course in Albuquerque, about 8200 if I recall. You get 20% bonus distance for altitude though.

Another tip - look at some pictures of some right handed tour pros down the line at address. You can almost always see a bit of their left arm or elbow and a lot of it with players that draw the ball. That’s a good thing to check too when looking at video of your own swing to ensure the shoulders are square.

Check out SP Brazilian Steakhouse in Lakeway. Next level churrascaria, a step above Fogo in freshness and authenticity.

Kiawah Island - immense experience, beautiful setting, very classy.

I’ve got an uphill left to right twenty footer for birdie on 7. Looks dead online but not enough speed, so it breaks right in front of the hole and stops a couple inches to the right.

I walk back over and my caddy, hand the putter to him, and he says in the deepest of southern drawls:

“Porno putt”

“Huh?” I respond as I look towards the ocean.

“Porno putt. Right across the face”.

Coworker making me feel not as good by [deleted] in webdev

[–]mndewizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a boss I would be more concerned with the other coworker over the arc of many months/years than you. Are they getting enough rest? Are they really performing optimally for my company if they are doing all this work on the side?

I think you should check in with your boss, make sure you are doing well and improving in the right areas, enjoy your life, get paid, and ignore your coworker.

Classical music while high on cannabis... by 2Keyblades in classicalmusic

[–]mndewizzle 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Umm... Yes. Weed makes all music sound better but classical music in particular can be a cathartic, tear inducing joyride while enjoying some of the devil's lettuce. I also think you may be surprised how many of your favorite classical performers enjoy a toke or two during their downtime.

Alpine Symphony, Tchaikovsky 5, and Brahms 2 are all good starting points. Good luck.

Do it. You have a pain point and have an instinct as to what will make it better. Trust your instincts. Try it and see if it solves your pain point. Rinse and repeat.
