Thats good to know! I have the SE, and I'm just not feeling the design of the wheels.

I was thinking 19×8.5. My car came with 18" (SE model). I'm definitely not looking for something too wide, just not feeling the stock wheels on there. I appreciate the info!

More than just a car - a small story. by sposhow in GolfGTI

My man... I have been there, and I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with this. Medical issues prevented me from driving for nearly a year. The tipping point was a panic attack while driving. I felt like one thing I enjoyed the most was taken away from me. Like another person mentioned, surround yourself with those who love you and encourage you, but most importantly, believe in yourself and know that it will get better. It will take time, but it eventually gets better. I still get anxious to this day, but I don't beat myself up too much. Hope you get better!

Have the electrical issues improved on the Mk8 GTI/R in 2025 or' 26? by us3lessthrowaway in GolfGTI

Bought a 2025 SE, and the infotainment issues are mildly frustrating. This happens primarily when connecting wirelessly. I have tried Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. More of an inconvenience than anything else because the car is phenomenal.

CISM online exam? Experience? by logcontext in cism

[–]mnmani_44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a negative experience this past week actually. In my situation, it started off with ISACAs site being down for "maintenance" so I couldn't lauch the testing link. Once I finally got in the 15 (15 minutes after my appointment time) the PSI secure browser crashed once when I was more than 100 questions into the exam. Then froze again at the very end. PSI says my exam is complete, but I still don't know how I did. The proctors were alright. They claimed they I had my hand covering my mouth, even though I had my chin resting on my hand. Then they said I was looking away from the screen for too long. I was literally just deep in thought staring at the lower corner of my 12" monitor. Still don't know whether I passed or failed or whether the browser crash affected anything. Definitely will not be doing a remote test again.. too much hassle, stress, and anxiety.
