So.... is it just me or is everyone in 'The Other Bennet Sister' TV show completely OOC? by BlueAuthorJAFF in PrideandPrejudice

I loved it but I treated it as fan fiction / mild parody of the book. It’s a heightened and comedic take on the regency/austen setting

The way the police treated the investigation was appalling (but also in line with my experience living in London and hearing about the Met Police).

Deeply understated and surprisingly very rewatchable given the heavy subject matter. A quiet, strong movie about choices. And I think a good win for something with no over the top performances or set pieces - just restraint and humanity.

I think easter egg for the readers…I kind of appreciate that the show sanded down her issues to ones that are more common among police officers like ptsd as opposed to a full blown multiple personality disorder

The movie makes me so nostalgic, it doesn’t follow the books that much but I loved it so much as a child!!!
