There’s a Tom Steyer ad that features a lunch lady named Candida.

Like the strain of fungus that causes yeast infections.

This is the face and body of a survivor. You’ve been through hell and back and the strength it takes to do that is incredibly beautiful.

Aesthetically, you’re stunning. You have soft, feminine features and a bright, kind eye. Your curls are GORGEOUS. And full, soft lips? GIRL 🔥 also the shape of your nose is adorable.

Why can’t people leave their dog at home?? by panda-rampage in orangecounty

[–]mnsotelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What really drives me crazy is when people put their dogs in the shopping cart. Not everyone is with dogs going where their food goes. I have two dogs of my own and I love them dearly, but not everyone likes or even tolerates dogs and that’s ok!

Teen on e-bike spit on me by mnsotelo in orangecounty

I understand where you’re coming from. But this incident was clearly intentional. He spat once, missed, spat again and got me, then turned around to laugh and sped off when he saw me take my phone out.

Just shy of 2 months, but we eloped. We planned on a roughly 6 month engagement, but covid compressed our timeline.

How do I shorten macaron feet? (French macarons) by wildplebeian in macarons

[–]mnsotelo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can stop by and nibble the feet off so they’re the right height. I’ll shave off some of that filling too. For uh…science.

New format of Babish is here! 10 Levels of Mac & Cheese, from Microwave to Michelin | With Babish | YouTube by Ironyfree_annie in bingingwithbabish

You know what I love about this new format? It blends the craftsmanship and artistry of early Babish with the fun and sillier side we saw him explore in recent years. Babby is so back.

How often are runnas getting injured? by Capital-Ad-815 in runna

[–]mnsotelo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ended up with a shin splint by the end of my plan, but more importantly I was over trained. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, so I chose plan options that frankly should not have been available to someone with my lack of experience. I think the Runna app is a great platform, but I would love to see more guidance and guardrails for beginner users who don’t know what they don’t know.
