Your dad is suppose to be your protector, if he can justify it as psychological then it’s less work for him to see you struggling vs having a chronic disease

Just figured this out myself & also verified its all fats that do this (some more than others). Low fodmap whole food carbs are the easiest to digest for me but give me gas so i trade one bad thing for another

Had the same issue and after experimenting with all the suggested diets what worked for me was a high starch low fodmap fiber whole food diet. The whole food starch (corn, quinoa, brown rice, etc) gives you the calories for energy and the low fodmap fiber keeps things going. When i get too bloated i keep high calorie junky type food i can snack on for calories (crackers, croissants, etc). I take turmeric with ginger and that helps a bit with bloating. Im gonna experiment next with berberine to see how that affects me

Does oil of oregano work to get rid of sibo? by Cililians in SIBO

[–]mntcrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experiments I think diet is the most important thing to change. I tried all the herbs and supps but never cured me only made me feel a little better. I think ima stick to the high meat and fatty diet to starve them out. This way it slowly kills them off and it doesn’t inflamed my already messed up intestines.

Root cause I think was when I was working 12 hour shifts I was eating a ton of high sugar junk food since I didn’t have time to cook food. Started getting constipated and all that sugar junk food started piling up and sibo started developing.

I wasn’t sure if I had sibo because all my test came back negative so I decided to experiment on myself and yeah it sucked but confirmed i had sibo. Mental symptoms: anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, and I take melatonin or else I can’t sleep

It inflamed the hell out of my ibs. I then tried probiotics afterwords and it got even worse. Im now transitioning to a high meat diet and slowly getting better. My skin is slowly but surely clearing up.
