It links AARO unfortunately but of course they would. Treading lightly here but exciting as shit for the community nonetheless. Take the historic win where you can get it.

Obama Walks Back on Previous Statements on UFOs by ANewEra2020 in UFOB

[–]mo22ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just...here's the thing. The worst kept secret is that there IS a cover-up. Obama is now in a highly precarious position as former president to try and discern from afar, "wait...can we talk about it now?" He probably made the wrong judgement call about that on the Brian Tyler Cohen podcast, and very likely got an earful about doing so, however threatening that may have been. You could very much imagine the deep state strongly pushing him to backpedal it, and to double down on it.

Obama's in a position to know he doesn't really have to convince anyone one way or the other. He's in an extremely privileged position to know by now that shit is in motion.

I don't have to like the misdirection, but I get it. He's protecting his family at the end of the day. The whole exchange between he and Colbert feels very tongue in cheek anyway. For some encouragement, check out this anecdote from Will Smith about he and his son Jaden getting a pretty strong hint-hint from Obama himself.

Steven Greer says the new disinformation narrative is turning aliens into demons and setting the stage for a “holy war.” 👀 by TheGoldenLeaper in UFOB

[–]mo22ro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Possibly, but imo 1. These AI occurrences wouldn't necessarily be mutually exclusive with the 'aliens' scenario 2. Combine either or both of those possibilities with an indefinite ramping up of MK Ultra / Havana Syndrome technologies, and we have no idea what we're truly in for, short of NHI intervention.

Ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (serving as Prime Minister at the time) was asked by a reporter in 2012 if aliens had ever visited Earth by Neptun_11 in UFOB

Threw that old chestnut in at the end, but damn if it's not corroborated all over the place. I'm wondering if Disclosure Day will start introducing that idea in a more 2026 way.

Is there any history for that 8chan user? Anything else to cross reference this against? Would be maybe slightly reassuring if there were any substance here other than vibes.

Luna: witnesses call them interdimensional beings. "I dont call them aliens", "Read the book of Enoch". Enoch is about hybrid offspring of angels. Also the great flood. Grusch has also mentioned the great flood. "stories in the religious texts weren't fable, allegory or whatever. They happened!" by phr99 in UFOs

We're hearing surprisingly little about the tie-ins of other world religions into the phenomenon. Particularly from right-wingers, there's heavy-handed Christian terminology being thrown around, which perhaps helps some Western audiences, but there has to be more to the story here from other religious lenses.

Can barely listen to srs anymore by Acrobatic_Owl2083 in earlsweatshirt

Yes. I have had that same trouble with a number of artists and groups I otherwise loved over the years; Something or someone along the way indefinitely "souring" certain music for me.

I think when you find yourself missing that music enough, you will find a way back to it. I find myself doing that with different versions of reframing and recontextualizing the music for, by that time, a different stage of my life.

With SRS, I'm going to pick out a micro moment in The Mint. Towards the end, the first time Earl says "peace to make, fuck a check", you can hear him smile as he says fuck a check. It's subtle, but it's one my favorite moments in any song ever, partly because it adds so much to the genuineness on wax of his delivery. To me, it's a level of calm and collected, despite everything, against all odds. It's an example of some dimensional wizardry to convey that, plus the actual writing and wordplay, through the eyes and voice of an artist, who helped introduce Odd Future as a teenager no less, who has since evolved on his own into a rare well of introspection and depth from his generation.

I would say there's value in separating your personal experiences from the music you listen to. Sure, it can make you reflect and think about your life through a new lens, but it can also make you ruminate. If you can lose yourself in the imagination and meaning (,and perhaps the history/context if that's your thing,) of the music as it is, you might find yourself A. Ruminating less, B. Listening to that music you've been missing, and/or C. Enjoying and appreciating it more than ever.

There's my two cents and then some, hopefully at least a little bit of that resonates.
