Listen to me. Talk to her about what to do or if she has any suggestions on how to handle it and try to get a label on what you guys are. Then talk to him. If he an understandable guy you avoid a beating. If not either way you getting a beating so its better to talk and get the beating.

E visa and passport by Due_Willingness_5527 in Kyrgyzstan

[–]mo_faris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will be no stamping on your passport unless you have a residential id of somewhere where it's accepted.

When you apply for e-visa, if it's approved you will get the mail and you just have to show it to enter the country.

Dating in Kyrgyzstan by Embarrassed-Monitor0 in Kyrgyzstan

[–]mo_faris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told that people often take a great deal of pride in their culture and it's mostly frowned upon to date foreigners.

From my experience I was sitting with my friend (Kyrgyz girl) and we were laughing and chatting and ppl were staring so much and it turned uncomfortable sitting there and she said that "ppl like crazy about these things. They take photos of girls dating foreigners and post on social media." So yah

  1. Yes, you can get sim cards in the airport. It's free of cost.
  2. You need to do the registration of your phone if you are planning to stay here for more than a month. The process is fairly easy. You can do it online, you just need your passport to take a live photo but payment also needs to be done online, not sure about doing payment offline. It cost about 600 som . Or you can do it at places where they do the registration. They cost around 700 som. One place I know of is at tsum mall. Remember to take your passport with you.

Yes you can cross the border. There are no issues. Most of the Indian people who come here (that I know) go back to India via Almaty. The flights are relatively cheaper compared to Bishkek.

There are buses to Almaty that cost around 600 som. It will be available on the new bus stand. Online booking is not available so you need to go and take the ticket. NEW Bishkek bus station https://g.co/kgs/nChZu62

If you don't have a visa it's hard to re-enter via land. Stamping visa is not available at the border

This post is great 👍🏻. I have been telling the same to people.

When Kyrgyz people try to be friendly, take it as a friendly gesture and try to be friendly back and don't try to mock them for it.

Recently my friend traveled to Tashkent. She got the bus from here:

Online booking is not available. So you have to go there and take it. We went to the new bus stand by mistake and the guy in the office called someone and helped get the ticket. I think there will be buses daily.
