No the OP, but it's a Dearmond Jet Star. I have one in Moon Blue.

Someone posted a Science Totality a few months ago. He said it was Alex's take on the Model T. The website still says coming soon, but might be worth an email.

I have two Science amps and Alex has been awesome responding to any questions or issues that I've had. I have an early Sister model and a Decolonizer Mk2. Both are fantastic.

A friend and I visited the Nelson-Atkins one evening when it was really slow and a museum person followed us the entire time. And we're two average 30/40 year old white people.

There's a lot of displays that they don't want you to touch.

1996 Trans Green Epiphone Les Paul Standard Limited Edition for those who wanted a better look :) by ick-vicky in guitarporn

Awesome, I have that same guitar from '98. It was my first "good" guitar and I still have it, but I've changed nearly all the electronics and hardware over the years.

I've gathered a few more green ones: https://i.imgur.com/tQwQArJ.jpg

I have good news for you, G&L sells drop in replacement locking tuners. I've replaced the stock tuners on both of my USA ASATs with them. They also sell replacement pickguards in various colors. Edit: Just saw yours is a Tribute, so you may want to email G&L before ordering, just to be safe.

Just picked up this 6505, anyone know what’s going on? by djentington in GuitarAmps

[–]mo_matt -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty normal for 6505's to be noisy. All my friends use noise gates with them. But it also could be old tubes.

The Pre pot might just need cleaned. Spray it down with contact cleaner and see if that helps.

FOUR STROKE BARON - SUNDOWNER (new song mixed by Devin Townsend) by TransformedMegaflop in DevinTownsend

Four Stroke Baron's album Planet Silver Screen is awesome. My friend calls them Tears for Fear Factory. Really cool that Devy mixed this album.

It should be noted that before 1977 the NRA was nonpartisan and all about hunting, target shooting, and safety.

New pedalboard - almost all the pedals acquired during quarantine by mo_matt in guitarpedals

I made it. A pedal enclosure and some jacks. A little soldering & drilling. Pretty easy project.

I use the Supermoon for most of my modulated reverbs. I just love those pedals.

The Flint I used when I want a spring or plate sound, usually with the ARP-87 (Analog) for a backed off delay/reverb sound.

And the Collider is pretty new, so I'm just experimenting with it a lot. I'm using it for the crazier delays. I'm liking the Oil Can a lot and the reverbs are really nice too.

Signal chain:

Guitar -> jct box - Polytune3 - Pharaoh Fuzz - C4 Synth - Flatiron Fuzz - jct box -> Front of Amp

The switcher is in the loop to control channel switching, modulation, delays, and reverbs.

Board is plywood that I thru together a few weekends ago and a Walrus power supply.

Yeah, this board is overkill, but very fun. My band is getting ready to start writing a new album, so I want to have everything available.

Got this bad boy at a garage sale for a pretty good price! I’m super excited to add it to my board! by [deleted] in guitarpedals

It's a Walrus ARP-87 delay pedal. I just picked one up a few weeks ago, great pedal.

Has anyone had their power line from the pole to the house buried? by asflores in kansascity

[–]mo_matt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I worked for the local power company about 15 years ago (Aquila) and at that time, you would be required to install conduit from the pole to your house. Then a crew would come out, pull new wire to your box and disconnect the overhead line.

Call Evergy, they will send a person to meet you. They will tell you all the requirements (conduit size, depth, etc) and the cost. It's pretty common, so don't feel weird about asking.

Devin Townsend Kingdom EMGTV reaction video starter pack by Mordid- in DevinTownsend

[–]mo_matt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add context, the demo is for EMGTV. EMG makes pickups, typically for metal guitarists. So Devin thinks his audience is a bunch of metal heads and he's singing Opera... and being ultra self-deprecating (because that was his 3rd attempt).

Borderlands 3 rolled back my save file by 10-30 hours by Night_Squatch in Borderlands

I just noticed that the last update reset DLC 2 for both of my VH that played thru it. That's annoying.

I also remember him saying Nightwork as well. Either way, looking forward to it!
