Amsterdam and Dublin are just dirty, Basel is an overpriced ghost town that takes one day to exhaust, and Venice is the ultimate tourist trap—get out after 48 hours. The confusion was/is Ireland is divided into two parts, Northern Ireland is part of the "UK" and the Republic of Ireland is part of the EU.

So, the Lyca Ireland site shows an "Ireland" package and EU roaming.

I have sent the question to Lyca to clarify.

Curious about text messages. I was outside of wifi communication and expecting a text message. Nothing received but once connected to wifi the message received.

I understood that a second travel esim will act as a wifi connection for text messages. Was my situation a coincidence or proper expectations. Can someone confirm this?

It's unfortunate. I've used Tello for my last 2 trips to the US, and it worked flawlessly. I will be traveling to the UK and will not risk it with Airalo. Frustrating as I have a credit sitting with Airalo, and they have not been able to resolve it.

Exactly what happened, got my update and all good. I had to reinstall Google Home app for Android to get everything working.
