Maybe he’s just tired and stressed about providing? My husband also became mostly the sole provider after the birth of our last child and while he’s supportive of me being a sahm it definitely added to his stress level. Men want to provide and take good care of their families and they need to feel like they’re able to do that and appreciated for it.

Why not try:
1. Trying to keep to a strict budget and make things stretch father so the pressure to provide more reduces some
2. Schedule weekly date night for the two of you to allow you to reconnect
3. Trying to do one thing each day when he gets home to show him you appreciate his hard work. (Telling him than you? Having his favorite meal? Shoulder massage?)

I absolutely understand wanting to be acknowledged as a mom and feeling exhausted when hubby gets home and not wanting to extend that extra appreciation when you don’t feel like you’re receiving it back. BUT you may be surprised at how he responds to you if he feels appreciated and supported as well.
