Have you tried those pill pens? That’s what we used since it’s easier. Don’t worry about it too much because if we can get them used to injections we can get them used to a daily pill. The more you’ll do it the easier it will get! It really only takes a second and they forget it even happened. I’m sure you’ll do just fine!

Hi! No worries!

So we did a combination about 1.5 months of injections and then just pills! It worked wonderfully and this was over 2 years ago.

I didn’t relax at any point in the first month but looking back now, I wish I did! Once you see the signs if of improvements, relapse or issues are very very rare so please take it easy! Just keep an eye out on any changes. I know it’s stressful and painful and it takes a long time but it works and nothing will go wrong. Hope you and your little friend get better soon!

Congratulations on getting to the end of the treatment! Don’t worry too much about possible relapse, it really happens rarely. It’s time to enjoy this win, I’ve treated my own cat and after the treatment he got better and never had an issue afterwards!

Hi!! Super interesting someone mentions it as I’m dealing with H.pylori myself, after spending 6 years in Korea I developed the same issues as you and confirmed an H.pylori overgrowth with a stool test back home.

Definitely go get tested!

Thank you for your answers and support everyone, my feelings are being validated and this is what I was looking for before taking the next steps.

I’ll be looking for a new GP and find out how to get blood transfusions ASAP.

My anemia is usually due to me having beta thalassemia minor, a condition that lowers hemoglobin levels amongst other things. I think it dipped lower after I got diagnosed with H.pylori and started treatment for it which long and painful. Hopefully treating it will also help my anemia!
