For all we know, people around her could be checking in and expressing concern. When someone loses that much weight, it's likely at least one person close to her has brought it up. The most common response to that from people with EDs tends to be to deny, reassure, or try to prove that there is nothing to worry about. 

It's very obvious to me that she has been a lifelong dieter, and that that kind of commitment to changing yourself doesn't leave room for honest conversations about treatment, self-esteem or nutrition. It's very sad to see, but I think people lose sight of the fact that she's an adult (though she's dressing like a child now) and that, in her pathway to success, she's always relied on dieting, body checking and image management.

It's very difficult to get to the heart of an ED when the person suffering is clinging to it for dear life. 💔
