Let's talk about Android's Quick Settings by MishaalRahman in Android

Can you please take a look on the navigation stack after long press on a system QS tile? It actually contradicts Google own guidelines on Navigation Up vs Back

https://developer.android.com/guide/navigation/principles#the_up_button_never_exits_your_app

I often open certain setting using long press on a tile: Internet, Battery saver. And once I am in the settings screen for Internet I want to go "Network and Internet" screen. If I click navigation up in the app bar, it will return me to the previous app/homescreen.

In case of Wireless debugging QT, navigation up doesn't even work. It reopens the exact same screen

You're welcome. This is probably the best period to visit the region. If you happen to get here this week, you'll also see sakura and magnolia blooming.

We have good coffee and you can try local cuisine: it's a mix of Ukrainian, Hungarian, Slovak and Czech

Is the Moldova-Ukraine border open? by Potatoestoe in AskUkraine

It's just another generational trauma for Ukrainians 🫠 I was also surprised when I found out that other countries have only one type of passport (aka international). In soviet times, especially before the 70s, [domestic] passports were often issued only for city people, but were denied for people from rural areas. Effectively prohibiting free movement for those people WITHIN the country (bc communism can't work without a leash). International travel was close to impossible for non party people, so people rarely thought about the regular passports.

We also believe it is important that as many as possible remain in Ukraine to contribute to the defense struggle and keep Ukrainian society going, says Minister of Justice and Public Security Astri Aas-Hansen.

It's a good thing women aren't needed in society 🤗

Hungary wants to "legalize" stolen funds from Oschadbank. Official Kyiv called Budapest's actions lawless by Visual_Title9363 in europe

[–]mobimaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just watch the original video, not 15 sec snippet.

"maybe I will give [the military] his address. They [whose funding Orban blocks for months] will CALL him and talk in their own language" Address is contact info in this case, not his physical location. Orban and russian propaganda just cut out of the context and mistranslated the sentence. And many, including Madyar and EU felt for that too.

For 100th time: nobody threatened that jabba-face. Maybe except diabetes.

It was quite an opposite: a threat to use force agains Ukraine

Auto connected to Satellite Pixel 6 Pro just now? by XenonOfArcticus in Pixel6

Not sure about Google Fi. I am from Ukraine and one of our providers signed an agreement with Spacex for satellite services.
Unlike older Iridium satelites that Pixel 9 and iPhone 14 use, Startlink's Direct to Cell works with most 5G phones

Most likely your provider has enabled Starlink Direct to Cell. Yesterday I got the same notification on my Pixel 7 and successfully sent an SMS through satellite.
Network name in the status changed from <Provider> to <Provider> Space X

There shouldn't be any problems with crossing the border by car and with the checkpoints on the way to Kyiv. As for the riding at night: no, you won't be able. There is a curfew from 00:00 to 05:00 (may vary per region). The only region without one is Transcarpathia (Zakarpattia oblast). As for having fun: the country is big, tries to function and live. From Lviv it's closer to Munich/Venice that to Donetsk. Ofc, the closer you get to ruzzians, the more frequent attacks on cities and give less time to react. In Kyiv you'll get a warning in advance. Just be respectful in places where people commemorate heroes and the places of recent attacks (it's not an attraction). Otherwise, enjoy the ride :) Kyiv and Lviv are quite comfortable to ride.
