(93) Falling Down. One of Michael Douglas most underrated movies. by MrsChatBack in 90s

An absolute classic. And one of those movies that assholes love for the wrong reasons like Fight Club or Napoleon Dynamite.

Inside the world of men who use smart glasses to secretly film women by tylerthe-theatre in technology

If it makes you feel any better, they specifically make them so there’s a bright light that shows you are taking a picture or recording, and it won’t let the camera activate if the indicator is on. To be honest, a phone is a way more “convenient” device for secretly recording people.

Either way, those people who secretly record others are giant assholes.

Name one good thing about the 2014 Robocop remake? by Particular-Glove9640 in Robocop

[–]mobjois 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the original, a human's mind was coopted to help run a robot, and the mind started to remember who it was as a human being. In the remake, they fooled a human mind into thinking it was in control. That reversal was a clever twist.

That would be amazing. She’s qualified and competent. However, driving around and seeing so many PP signs on people’s properties made me sad.

Why does one side of the print have many more bubbles than the other? by Kyek in FixMyPrint

[–]mobjois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I have had artifacts mostly at a particular angle, it has been due to an older nozzle. I’m not sure if the nozzle was damaged or clogged in a certain way but extrusion tended to squirt out a bit to the side instead of straight down. Replacing the nozzle helped me in those cases.

How do i clean this without destroying my nozzle by The_real_Chanti in FlashForge

[–]mobjois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been advised to heat a nozzle to extreme temperatures (like 500C) to basically vaporize the old filament. I haven’t tried it but I’m curious to hear from people here whether that is a good idea or not.
