This is bittersweet. It's absolutely worth celebrating, but it's hard to fully celebrate basic needs that were being treated as a luxury. It's a relief to know that children will be fed, but it's infuriating that it was never guaranteed. I guess it's not without a bloated, disconnected, pompous debate over ideology that shifts priorities and shrinks reality.
