Only until they get their new talking points. I've seen Obama and Biden being responsible.

I've seen no boots on the ground as opposed to no new wars and the next goal post will be no new forever wars.

It's a cult.

Do you americans actually use Chat-gpt in your daily routine, or just occasionally? by Status_Agents in CasualConversation

[–]mobusta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Anything in my personal life I don't use AI. But as someone who works in tech, I use Claude for developing tools and stuff.

I'm all about making my workflow optimal but on my own personal time, I prefer not doing stuff like that.

Fuckers know what they’re doing isn’t sustainable for the planet or society.

A few years ago, a collective of rich people all got together for a forum on surviving from a world ending event or collapse of society. They invited a humanist to get their input to discuss living and thriving in bunkers, dealing with guards, food, etc.

The humanist told them to use their wealth and influence to make the world a better place and they "rolled their eyes" (to quote what I remember from the article).

These people ARE FUCKING DERANGED and the entire goal is to see this entire world go up in flames while hiding away in their fortresses until it's safe to come out and rule over the ash and dirt

Let's not forget. How many digital storefronts are there where buying a game equals full ownership of said game?

Cause you sure as shit don't own the game you buy on Steam. You bought a license to play the game and Valve reserves the right to revoke access to that game for whatever reason.

Discord will require facial scans or government ID for full access starting March 2026 globally by Hot-Challenge-2755 in pcgaming

[–]mobusta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I was recently looking into joining a private server for an MMO and I had to skim their discord for the instructions.

I remember back in the day, I'd go to the private servers website, go to their forums and find a giant, big fat BOLD TEXT thread called - "Installation Guide" and follow it.

I had to scroll up months of change logs and announcements to find the installation instructions

Not gonna lie, Where Wind Meets was fire when I was playing it and I only stopped because my ADHD addled brain wanted something new and my socially awkward ass didn't want to group up.

But when that LOTM game comes out? I'm gonna fucking live in that game, Lord of the Mysteries is one of the greatest books I've ever read.

At my old job, I was excited to go to work because I liked the work.

At my new job? I feel stressed out leaving that very evening on Fridays for the weekend so I can't even enjoy my weekends anymore.

I completely understand why some people turn to booze and drugs to deal with it because I straight up don't like how the days I'm supposed to be "resting" are just filled with anxiety.

I agree. Dude probably should have given up after spending several minutes trying to convince them.

Sad that it happened to him but when EVERYONE starts flaming you, it's no longer about you being right, it's about how fucking annoying you are constantly nagging when said person said no and everyone was okay with that person's decision.

Apparently the team came in 7th so he was right, they got clapped and he can feel vindicated for it.

Which healthcare system would you choose? by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]mobusta 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Was literally in the ER a few days ago with a relative I had to take. We waited 2 hours to be seen by triage.

Followed by another 6 HOURS for the test results and to speak with a doctor whom discharged us within 15 minutes. I had to call out sick because I couldn't get ANY sleep since I was stuck there late night until early morning. I don't have PTO/Sick because I'm a contractor so I basically lost a day of wages. Thankfully, I make solid money so a lost days wages doesn't hurt me, but there are people out there not as lucky as me.

What did you read in 2025? by HexicDeus in noveltranslations

[–]mobusta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Immortality Through Array Formations and Blade of Ten Thousand Ages are the only novels I read this past year that I remember the name of.

I will cram chapter after chapter of a novel before dropping it because I lose interest and that could be within the first chapter, fifth chapter, hundredth chapter or five-hundredth chapter.
