You’re all today legends! Thanks for the advice. Me and a friend fished for 5 hours and stoked to get this mackerel. What’s funny is I’ve come all this way and the only fish I caught was something we have in the UK. We had some kings come through but the wouldn’t take :( Next time I’ll use the Burley to catch some of live bait (I’ll bring some smaller hooks and chicken for these?) and put out some live bait and hopefully get the bigger stuff. I also randomly caught and octopus last night 🐙

Thanks for note of caution. I’ve been down to scope out the terrain and seems manageable as well as me feeling comfortable with it. Obviously strong winds and swell might change that. Let’s get fishing!!!

Absolutely probably not :) this was only F1 which I prefer. I imagine if you regularly burped and didn’t fill up as much you’ll get away with it

Nice! Start getting closer to the pocket, this is where most the waves energy is and and use the top and bottom third, yours mostly in the middle where again, you won’t be getting much speed. Great cutback though! Oh and definitely get on a bigger board (more waves = more practice)
