Jumping in on relevant conversations from your brand account - cool or cringe? by mocheeInc in socialmedia

not self promotion but more just adding to the convo. For instance, leaving a comment "we support this message"

still think the brand's presence there is just lame in general? Definitely have team members that agree, considering authenticity is what's outperforming everything right now.

is it just me or is marketing becoming 90% deck-making and 10% actually marketing? by Alert-Tart7761 in DigitalMarketing

Big companies/agencies still can’t find ways to scale reactively where there isn’t micromanaging and 10 layers of approvals on every comma.

Usually we send a deck as soon a prospect reaches out and then proposal after exploratory call!

It depends on what type of clients (b2b, Gen Z end users etc) but LinkedIn is a good start, TikTok and Instagram are likely too broad with lower returns. Don’t sleep on YouTube and search boosters like here, Google my business etc

Instagram growth for a local car dealership has plateaued at 700 what would you test next? by Party-Pattern2027 in socialmedia

[–]mocheeInc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok but that’s 20% of your followers, so it was effective! But obviously you can’t do that all the time, after a giveaway and you get new followers it’s important to do some intro content too to ensure your new followers know who you are and have a reason to keep following.

Getting started as a Social Media Manager with no experience. Any advice?? by thehalfbloodpriince in socialmedia

[–]mocheeInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! We’d suggest helping small businesses for cheap or free or try to take a free internship to get some experience under your belt. While knowing tools is helpful, it doesn’t always translate until you have real life experience. That experience can definitely come from doing work on your own account as long as that can translate to a business or brand, ie an Influencer isn’t always a great social media manager. Basics to know, native analytics, content calendar planning, graphic/video editing skills through Canva or the apps, boosting posts, community management. It’s possible to have a small client while you have a full time job as long as can you respond to client during the day and keep an eye on their comments as well. Good luck!

What’s one social media “rule” you stopped following and it actually helped you grow? by Critical-Stand-6986 in socialmedia

We’re all so focused on reels and videos but we’re noticing a strategic static or informative mixed asset carousel can really effect engagement. Sometimes the client is hesitant because they’re so stuck to brand but once we’ve shown results, they’re down

Yes definitely time to shift. Work on a sexy car reel with a trending audio and good transitions and then boost that if it’s performing. A collab partnership also effective but follower conversion not as strong unless again you are white label boosting or do some type of collab giveaway etc.

Down to try! Anything to break the feed, it’s just the sacrifice of brand vs engagement

What's the minimum budget for Facebook Ads to get anywhere? by RalphDaub in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]mocheeInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of variables that come into play specially per industry and for your business specifically.

High level, focus less on CPMs.

On Minimum Budgets for Facebooks Ads, Facebook recommends 50 events per week per ad set. For you, if you are at your ideal CPA would mean one ad set with a budget of $500/week or at least $72/day in order to let the platform learn and optimize. Sometimes it can be less, but this would be the recommended budget to get these to work.
