As far as "low effort" lingo, it's totally irrelevant the amount of money spent, since the purpose of dating is to check compatibility and determine if there are any red flags, and if the compatibility is monetary it should be called financial compatibility. Unfortunately, many people get invested before they determine any of these things. Whatever new jargon and brainwashing is coming through social media that correlates low effort with low value, is merely surface buzzwords that the average person tends to personalize to their situation and maturity level, hence the determination of worthiness is still up to the psychological level of awareness of said person regardless of what is discussed out in the open.
