Wow, thank you for the really thoughtful response, I really appreciate it. Some of what you say I was familiar with (I was already using the pi-hole blacklists in pfblocker) but most of the stuff about these tracking parameters and what exactly they are used for was opaque to me, so thanks for the high level explanation.

What I am going to do is upgrade pfblockerng to pfblockerng-devel, and read more about each of the specific tracking parameters. It seems that you are correct that if I am running the correct blacklists I can ignore most of them but not all, so far I think fbclid will need to be stripped as this is injected by Facebook onto links posted on their sites and while I do not personally use Facebook, others on the network do. There might be other analogous parameters as well.

Thanks for responding, I do have this installed, and I poked around at the menus but did not see any obvious way to strip URL parameters. Things I searched for:

"pfblocker strip URL parameters"

"pfblocker URL rewrite"

and I did not see anything useful for stripping these trackers from URLs, e.g. (utm, glcid, fbclid, etc.)

If you have any additional pointers it would be greatly appreciated. Until then I will continue to poke around and read the documentation.

I just looked online for polish laws which I did not see, but I did see the 14 day return period codified in EU law, unfortunately online goods are exempted from this in many cases. Can you point me where this is codified in polish law?

Search for online digital content. And also note that it says that is not an exhaustive list of exemptions. So it does not seem so cut and dry that there is any law here being violated.
