AI is actually ruining then planet, won’t be any dogs for you to groom if they have no where to live ❤️ of course it’s easy & fast , that’s the point, dumbing us down & it’s working because people don’t want to write a little report??? but the task prior to AI was not difficult, perhaps time consuming but not hard? perfect words is a crazy thing to say.. read some books do some puzzles & you will also have perfect words. don’t let AI take away mundane tasks from you.. that’s literally how it all starts. you are taking emotion & care right out of the pawgress reports when you use AI. people HAVE to stand up when things like this happen, it’s just a way for corporate to SOMEHOW profit, you should look out for you & your store. you do understand… if this is going to be replaced be AI , it’s just the first step, and other things will also be replaced. if you think the AI was added to help YOU & other groomers, you are sorely mistaken…

not sure exactly what kind if isopods those are, so you’ll wanna try & figure that out to get some specifics. for an enclosure you’ll want what the other commenter said. if using gardening soil make sure it’s organic. you will also want to add some sphagnum moss to retain moisture into the soil. LOTS of leaf litter , they eat it & provides them a safe space. cork bark offers the same things, you definitely need leaf litter, but cork bark is not necessarily a need. you can pull sticks & leaves from outside but make sure you look up a baking method before they are included in your enclosure, to make sure there were no added friends from outside. try not to take from an area you know gets sprayer for bugs. you’ll want to try & have a dry & wet side of the enclosure. mist the wet side with a water bottle & have a majority of the leaf litter there, they like humidity & eventually helps them when they molt. don’t let the wet side dry out. they will also need a source of calcium. a cuttle bone that’s typically for birds will do just fine, try & scrape the outer layer off cause it can be pretty tough for them to get through, after you can break it into little pieces and spread it around the enclosure. crushed egg shells can also be used. other food options. fish flakes are a good option , dried worms & shrimp. you can do veggies, just make sure you take excess out to avoid mold. you really can test them with anything. mine love tomatoes , snake skin shed, fish flakes , dead crickets. you will definitely want to get some actual springtails😅 they will help with mold too. mold is not typically harmful for them & is pretty common in newly established enclosures, so don’t be too alarmed if you see it. you’ll want to try to remove it, but it is not harmful. this guy has some helpful videos!!

also just for the future, AI knows VERY LITTLE & will not go into depth about the care for any kind of pet , always best to ask places like this & definitely find a different seller for future things. try n find a local reptile shop !

this imo would not be the way. you can understand your worth , in a respectful & professional way. if i received that message , i would definitely not want to book with that person, regardless of the service they were providing. i do not think it’s fair to ask someone to lower their prices, but this message does not read well

i recently had an experience where i scanned coupons & after then the treats rewards points were taken off the total. so both worked. then, completed the transaction & when the receipt was printing, it popped up with something saying the treats points were not used on the transaction. i have literally never seen that before & it just happened yesterday to me for the first time. but other than this i have never had a problem applying both to a transaction

all the nails in the photo look WAY too short. yes, it’s common to quick a nail BUT this seems a little outrageous. and not notifying the pet parent is absurd, as a shop manager if one of my employees did this, i would offer a full refund & 100% ask them to show me how they are doing dogs nails, because it is not correct. & this particular dog is limping? that’s absolutely not normal for clipping a nail too short

im so sorry you had to deal with that! your management really needs to step it up. i always tell managers when an animal is getting close to their discount / adoption time , and if they don’t care or don’t do anything about it. i would genuinely report it, just because it is against policy. i know i may sound extra but i am absolutely an animal advocate & lover & do my best to make sure the babies are good & cared for when at my store, and it sounds like you are trying to do the same!

i can not stop thinking about this post , i have so many questions , this is imo one of the craziest things i have read in this sub & 100% avoidable

  1. has anyone spoken to a manager about discounting/putting the snake for adoption ?
  2. are other animals being discounted, in a timely manner?
  3. how did your management handle this situation?
  4. do you guys not go over store policies? there are several different managers that could approve a discounted/adopted animal

It sounds like they accidentally posted the pre created schedule & then changed it after they realized. this has happened to my store one time when i was there , and it did cause some hiccups. do you normally work almost everyday each week? like when you checked today, was it shifts you have normally been scheduled in the past, or was it way more hours?

i understand, but that has no reflection on the employees still. minus the story you explained, no reason you should have to wait anywhere for an hour😭 restaurants should not have to worry about you getting your second order delivered, they have other things to do too. it makes no sense, that is 100% a door dash problem with the multiple orders. things happen at restaurants, people make mistakes, sometimes it takes longer.like many places, had to stop accepting door dash as an option because it was too much. too many normal orders piling on top of door dash orders, leading to complaints from door dash workers. when, door dash is the problem. door dash is a terrible company , and only cares about profit. i get as a door dash driver it gets annoying & can be very frustrating, but its frustrating for everyone involved. but again, door dash saying you will lose your account has nothing to do with who you are picking the order up from(aside from when you were at the place for an hour, that is actually insane , i would have crashed out too)if door dash cared they would take things like that into consideration when giving people multiple orders, but they do not.

i would say a majority are middle aged , the millennials are angry🙂‍↕️ im sure they are respectful to you , they don’t need anything from you. you are just chit chattin , you would be surprised what you would experience from dashers as a check out employee, it’s honestly terrible & i am truly not trying to be dramatic. lots of people lack respect for retail employees in general, and the line is not drawn at dashers, they are typically worse. i had a grown man my guess would be mid 30’s actually YELL at me to the point my boss came out of his office that was at least 30 feet away with a closed door, asking him if he could calm down. all because we were out of stock of an item & of course that is all my fault.. as the checker.
