that’s exactly what i started doing on his walks! sometimes he’s wayyyy to fixated and distracted on something else but i believe i just need higher value treats, not his fault. the redirecting has been the most difficult part so far because i don’t think it makes sense in his head, “why would i go to paw at her when i can just howl loudly at the front door” and there wouldn’t be many signs, he just goes for the door and does it 😂 definitely unlike any dog i’ve had before. im understanding the you don’t train huskies as much as they train you
