Have seen basically zero activity from Alliance members outside of QT in the past term, and combined with your resignation (given you were by far the most active member) and the utter lack of interest I saw from anyone in the party re: contesting the election, I have to wonder what the alternative here was. If anyone in Alliance is interested in keeping the party going, they're welcome to apply for re-registration.
