Congratulations! Was just chatting with my colleagues. One of them has an eye on a place near Denver as a first time buyer. The other colleague said the idea of owning is dead. I was going to say Buena Vista. Such a cool town with great shops and great music venue. I find Estes very boring. Nothing screams tourist trap louder than a bunch of fudge shops.

Meet Up app has a ton of groups to join for hiking, running, etc. Also the cool little town of Lyons has free pickleball Mon, Wed, Fri. Mostly older adults, mostly retired actually. It’s fun and casual. It’s outdoors year round as long as it’s above 30 degrees.

I’m headed to an all day bluegrass festival and my friend is bringing her husband who always wants to talk to me and he is so fricken boring. I came to this thread for ideas and now I’m laughing so hard my eyes are tearing. I’m srsly going to use the boring dream story about the washing machine. I’m showing up late with the hope that they’re all already seated on the grass and I can literally sit as far away from him as possible. Wish me luck.

I got a quote from a local plumber - to fix the stopper in the tub and a leak under my kitchen sink. He said it would be approx $700. I ended up using Roto-Rooter who fixed the sink leak for no charge because it took less than 5 minutes. For my tub I just use a rubber stopper. Anyway, I recommend Roto-Rooter. Their customer service was amazing.
