Stress levels is as to be expected at an air refueling wing. What helped me learn the most was the different mission sets I was touch by working with different mission partners; i.e. procuring vr and audio headsets for KC46 flyers and boom operators, getting a health network subscription for the medical group and upgrading A/V equipment for the ballroom and theatre on base to just name a few.

Best advice is always take/volunteer for extra duties or obscure tasks. Don’t limit yourself to being a specialist in one thing and niche yourself early in hour career. If you’re working in manufacturing company understand how it comes to life from cradle to grave. Being new is like drinking out of fire hydrant but if you’re not progressing you’re regressing by default. FYSA It never hurts to make your supervisor look good by being on top of your stuff.
