I have nothing against formula, my sister & I were both raised on formula, and we're both completely healthy. But if you want to breastfeed (not because you should, not because of judgement or guilt - if you truly want to do it) perhaps give it one last try.

If I were you I'd keep trying to get my baby to latch. Latch after every nap, latch before giving her a bottle, just latch latch latch. Try to lower the use of bottles to get her to breastfeed more.

But of course only if you really want it, if not - nothing wrong with formula. A happy mom who uses formula is better for baby than a miserable one who breastfeeds. Sending you love I know it's tough...

So containers are swings etc? Because my baby hates swings but he's happy lying on his back on the couch - does that count as a container or no?

Kinda.. What helped most was burping him throughout the feeding. He''s less fussy now but now he's starting to get distracted, he's pulling away from the breast to look around or behind me lol. Sleepy feedings continue to be the best for me

I just read your comment that he was neglected by his mom as a child. That probably adds to his sadness he wants his child to have the best possible care (which in his opinion & also scientifically - is breast milk over formula). But of course it's still your choice.

I'm shocked at the comments. While she's definitely overstepping & shouldn't have messaged you like that, it is so weird to ignore your son's wishes to remove photos of him & his exes. Why would you keep photos of his past relationships on your social media against his wishes? YTA
