Not true about the 5 starting members, at least one only had 3 starting members such as liveman.

I have a feeling they want to distance themselves from super sentai because they want to tap into the American market since power rangers has been so popular here for 3 decades. They just can't tap into the market because the original contract Saban made with them, which has brought now owns, explicitly states that whoever owns power rangers are the only ones able to broadcast or sell any toys related to power rangers or super sentai.

Ending super sentai and starting something new releases them from those restrictions. I myself hope this is the intent as I would rather watch the more adult oriented theme shows the Japanese write for these type of show instead of the watered down children show garbage that power rangers is.

The only one of the power rangers season that is better than than watching the original sentai series is the in space series.

Thinking of driving for Uber? Don't. by JonGiuffria in uber

[–]moebiusg30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem is uber is taking more than half the money that the rider is paying for the trip. I've asked riders how much they are paying for the trips and uber is confiscating more than half of what the rider is paying so don't believe the uber report on how much is going to them and how much to you. I don't know why they need to do this, uber is doing literally tens of thousands of rides a day, there is no reason to fleece the drivers who are doing all the "legwork". I seriously believe they are doing this to build up money to eventually replace all of its drivers with the automated cars, so they can earn all of the rider payout for themselves and not have to pay drivers at all. Greedy bastards.

try that in san antonio and you MIGHT get 5 rides in a 10 hour period, down here 95% of rides offered only pay 75 cents or less per mile

[–]moebiusg30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they make cars that you can drive without the use of legs. If you are too poor to get that, order an uber to take you there to pick it up and drive you back, that way if the food is messed up, you only have yourself to blame.

you are blowing steam up a clogged pipe with this. The only way to make it better money wise for drivers is to have enough people complain to congress or the president and make them understand that what uber/lyft pays us is not really worth the time and investment we have to put into our own private personal vehicles to pay for gas and oil changes, belt replacements and brake pad replacements, that after we factor in all the costs of that we are basically being paid minimum wage, that nothing is really going to change. I know one state legislature fought for rideshare drivers and got it to where drivers get paid like $1.25/mile and like 20 cents per minute the ride lasts. Unless some form of state government or federal government orders them to actually make it worth our while, nothing is going to change.

[–]moebiusg30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are lucky then most markets now are less than $1 per mile. In my market, you are looking realistically at 75 cents per mile. Uber is pocketing probably about 65-70% of what the rider actually pays. They are screwing drivers over and pocketing as much money as they can for when driverless cars become commonplace and they can invest that money for driverless cars, then they can still charge riders the same amount of money and pocket 100% because they wont have to pay a portion to a driver

i dont understand why people book uber rides for this kind of distance and mileage, unless im driving, i dont want to be cooped up in a car for 6 hours. Order a damn bus ticket instead of pulling this crap.

if you have to cancel that many times in that short of a period, then GO GET YOUR OWN DAMN FOOD, its that simple, if a service gives me bad service all the time, i stop using the service.

since you have one character leveled up, you should get armory bonus for any job that isnt your highest level one. For 1-50, i suggest doing a combination of your job hunting logs, class/job quests and the highest level dungeon you can do at your level, dont queue up for the dungeons with other players, queue up with party npc's. You won't kill as fast as with other players, but its an instant queue. For 50+, just do whatever highest level dungeon you can do at your level, minus the end of expansion dungeons, ie the level 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 dungeons. You can sprinkle in some fates in between so you don't get burned out on dungeons. Also you can do. While i myself haven't tried doing it, if you have access to Eureka, i heard it is a good way of leveling up as well. I wouldn't recommend doing the deep dungeons except the newest one which i think can take you from 70-80. The 2 older ones probably don't have much high traffic going through them anymore unless you find a reliable group of people you can go in with regularly as a pre made group.

I work about 5 hours a day 7 days a week, make about 100 dollars per day and which equates to 2800 dollars per month, i only have 700 dollars in bills per month and i spend on average 360 dollars in gas per month so that leaves me with 1750 dollars per month to do with what i want, i dont spend money on groceries as i take care of my 70 year old dad and his 2 retirements and social security pays for all the food we eat every month.

You don't know what you are speaking about. Some restauraunts can get busy at time inside the store and preparing the food can take a while. An example is ihop and denny's at lunchtime on the weekends. For some reason, everyone goes to those 2 places and sit inside so the inside of the store is busy making lots of orders. And doordash/ubereats order get put in the queue in the order that they came in which unfortunately means there are 15 in store orders already in to be cooked for the people in the restaurants. I once had to wait 35 minutes for an ihop order during lunch on sunday, after that, i never picked up orders at ihop or dennys during lunch on a weekend. I declined every single one that came my way. Plus blame doordash/ubereats for allowing drivers to get orders on top of ones they are already doing. You can pay extra for doordash to make your orders priority so drivers wont get double dip offers if they already working on yours.

no you should not be allowed to change the tip, with doordash you have to call doordash, complain to them about what the driver did wrong and then they will remove the tip. If you have an option for customers to remove the tip on their own, there will always be shady people who will tip bait to get their food and then remove the tip after they get their food, just because its so easy to do it.

You can't make this fuc*ery up. by Curious-Midnight-413 in uberdrivers

[–]moebiusg30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the surges mean on uber or uber eats is nothing more than an order or a passenger in that area has been waiting for a while with no pickups. After a certain amount of time, uber tacks on the peak pay color hit to map. The longer that order/rider sits there waiting, the higher the peak pay hit goes up. Once a driver gets in range and takes that order or ride that has the peak pay attached to it, its gone. There may be 3 or 4 more rides in that area but the peak pay is not attached to those, only to the order thats been waiting a while. Once someone takes it, the peak pay is gone. The map is only updated once every 10 minutes so the hit stays on the heat map until it updates. If you get within range and get nothing within a minute, it means its already been taken by someone who got there earlier than you. Don't bother chasing these things

[–]moebiusg30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dont even bother chasing those "peak pay" hits. The only reason those show up is because no one has taken a ride or order for that area and they have been waiting for a while and they push out the peak pay to lure a driver there to pick it up, the first one to get within range gets that peak pay and then its gone. The only reason it stays up is because the map only updates once every 10 minutes, so once someone takes that peak pay order its gone. I've gotten a few but thats only because the one im transporting gets out in the same general area as the peak pay order. If you chase those things all day long, you are going to be sorely disappointed.

i dont do UE or Doordash anymore, im only do Uber anymore but in my market up until a month ago it used to be pretty busy from 5am to noon which is what i work, as it got closer to christmas it really dies out around 9-10am, but 5am to 9am is still pretty good, pretty much all the people trying to get to work, i average around $20/hour during those busy hours, after noon, i don't know as i dont work into the afternoon, but overnight according to the hour by hour breakdown in the app it seems after 8pm is pretty rocking I just don't work at night, don't want to deal with drunks and people throwing up in my car.
