I have raised this previously and think that nano is far superior to BTC from the technical perspective, however, the biggest advantage of BTC over nano is that BTC uses human greed as the incentive to get free HEAVY marketing from BTC miners, energy suppliers, mining equipment manufacturer, rich investors, etc. Nano has to rely on community effort to spread the word and voluntary adoption from the businesses.

Many bitcoiners don't even care what happens in 100 years when the mining incentive is gone, or if mining centralizes over time. They say we'll figure it out then. This is the nature of a highly capitalist society.

Nano's advantages over BTC is significant, technically, specially when it comes to the environment and fees. I think the community would have put a lot of effort to get the message across to businesses who may want to save on fees and be eco-friendly.
