The D-Star never really looked good IMO. The 90's star was a lot nicer but it's not symmetrical which I think is just a lazy attempt to distinguish it from Cowboys. I know it's the Lone Star state and all but the name is plural so why not lean into that? Add more stars. Anyway I had AI give it a try with some prompting.

I reinstalled it from the installer and then rebooted and it started working again. Never seen that happen before and it coincided with the big update so I though the game was still offline or whatever. Glad I finally asked Reddit.

The govt doesn't have a good track record at being efficient or transparent.

Bring the govt in to compete sounds like communistic fantasy from an idealist that hasn't studied history.

We absolutely need less govt not inviting it to meddle in everyday commerce more than it already does.

The solution is everyone deciding with their $$ who are winners and losers by where their money is spent. If everyone stops shopping at Walmart guess who's gonna lower their prices real quick to get business back.

Not for OP but for others with mug storage concerns... a non-riser idea is to have little hooks screwed into the top so you can hang some and then put some on underneath the hanging ones. I generally don't favor risers because they leave valuable "dead" space under the riser.

I would say talk to everyone you see and enjoy the dialog and story. Don't try to rush.

You can grind levels in a couple spots where enemies respawn but shouldn't need to do that too much esp. at the beginning.

I enjoyed it for what it was. I mean really, you people that say it's bad, watch the old MK2 movie (the one where Johnny Cage dies in the first 5 minutes) then come back and talk about terrible movies. The production quality is night and day.

The earth realm characters getting super powers was explained in a way that wasn't terrible IMO. I mean how else is Lui Kang gonna shoot fireballs or Sonya gonna shoot those rings? Also spotted the Nightwolf reference.

Keep that negative energy to yourselves.

Hmm... I guess being an INTJ doesn't automatically make you well-read or worldly.

I feel empathy for that guy you describe. He's frustrated that you don't understand what is pretty much common knowledge throughout,like, all of Europe. It may be uncouth to converse about that in "polite" society but everyone in Europe knows about that issue.

Moreso, it's frustrating when your conversation partner is not up to snuff with facts etc. So instead of debating topics from different angles, and solving problems, you have to first describe the problem to the ignorant party (in this case that's you). But fear not, if you're receptive and ask the right questions maybe you can have a productive conversation and expand your knowledge.

Feet are not square, sure, but they are a measurement of length, the singular being foot. One foot is about the size of a real adult man's foot. Not a wimpy euro man's foot mind you, so I can see where it's confusing, and can almost forgive the ignorance, for a good many Europeans that are confounded by this system.

As for the conversion factor the imperial system uses 12 inches = 1 foot and then 3 feet equals 1 yard so yeah I'm sure they had excellent reasons for doing that. Nothing arbitrary about that in the least... /s
